I feel your pain Lynda. It would appear AP is having yet more problems... this time with credit cards from what I understand. I sure hope they are able to get that cleared up. In the meantime, I suppose it's always good to have a little cash sitting in AP through a free bank transfer for things like this. But I agree... ARGH!

Apparently James has left RevMatrix from what I'm reading over at the RM forum. Not sure what is behind that as I've been away a few days... but looks like RM is still moving forward.

Ok now I am worried. I have been cheated so many times I don't know what to think anymore. I sure hope this is real. CC is the only way I can pay for this and if this is going to happen how can I trust AP to pay month to month?

one new thing I have learned is that if you can't use paypal for something,--something is wrong. I canceled my rev matrix account. They just don't know what they are doing over there. (neither does alertpay)

Stick with GDI if you want to do mlm.

I have no doubt that Alertpay realizes this is a huge issue and they are loosing money by having this issue, so I have no doubt that they will want to get it fixed ASAP! As for Paypal, I have had numerous issues with them as well. You barely hit a wrong button and they freeze your acct and don't allow you to do anything until they send you something through the mail which takes 7 to 10 days, so as for Paypal being any better than Alertpay, I personally don't think so!

As for the issues about RevMatrix, I read the entire thread about what happened in their forum and apparently John Al-Oboudi was looking out for himself and NOT wanting to pay everyone. So, what has happened is that the other owners have taken back control of their own site and John is out! They want to be known for having an honest and upstanding business and have dipped into their own pockets to get everything that John did all straightened out and everyone paid properly. They are now trying to get everyone to understand that what they have done is for the good of the business and everyone in it! So, the site is under new management and they are doing everything in their power to get everyone to understand that they have weeded out the problem and everything is good to go!

Hello everyone,

I am new here and still fairly new to this at-home thing (which holds a lot of appeal for me). Unfortunately my very earliest attempts (years ago) involved losing money to unscrupulous individuals who sold ninety seven dollar eBooks telling you everything that Google would tell you for free about AdWords. But let's not get into that, shall we? I'm sure we've heard enough "been scammed or ripped off" stories.

So - somehow I found out about the Revolutionary Matrix program. It sounds intriguing, the owner seems like a good guy, etc., etc.

I looked over the site, I've read threads about it, but I'm still confused. I don't understand what I'd be doing[ after signing up. Okay, I get that there are levels under you, and you get a spillover effect and payed per person with a whoppingly large *potential* residual income (if you fill all your levels)...is that right?

But beyond that, I'm lost. What do you *do* once you've joined? How do you get people to join under you? Do you have to actively promote something, encourage people, write a blog, or what? Please go easy on me, I can be considered a newbie, here. I've never blogged, successfully sold an affiliate product, written a review, or made a website.

I can tell you one thing, which is that I don't like promoting/selling myself. I don't know if that dislike runs in contradiction to the inherent requirement to make money with this program...but you know what I mean, I've seen videos where people are going on about why "their" way is best to market such and such an MLM product, how "that other guy" isn't telling you the whole story, why you should "join them", etc. It all seems so competitive and turns me off. Should I count myself out if that's not my style?

Anyway, if anyone here is willing to share with me how it actually works, I'd be most appreciative. I'm not looking to get filthy rich (not to say I wouldn't mind thirty five grand a month, ha), but any amount monthly would help me out a lot these days, even a hundred or two hundred bucks to start.

Thanking you for your patience and assistance!

I have also read a lot of details from both sides about the recent issues in RM. Since I did not witness anything personally, I couldn't possibly point any fingers one way or the other. Glenn and James are both experienced business people, and I wish James the best with his new journey as it sounds like he will be starting a business of his own.

As always, I can really appreciate the efforts Glenn dedicates to RM, and I hope to see it continue to thrive!

Hi R.ticle One... Welcome to the world of making money on the net! Let me begin by honestly telling you what I pesonally have done, I first joined a "gifting program" and within 2 months, it faltered. I was able to make my money back out of it before the site completely went down, but most didn't. I have since met people and got to know them actually in this forum. I decided for myself that after getting to know people that were doing fairly well with the business that they were doing, I would take another chance. But, it wasn't actually the system, but the person that I had gotten to know and talked to several times, that I started to trust and wanted to give that person a chance more so than the business itself! By alligning yourself with the right "people" and "team" weather or not the business falters or does fantastic, your entire team is in the same boat as you and you stick together. Now, what I am trying to tell you is that by taking a chance on a great guy that I talked to and really liked what he had to say, I am now in several different businesses together with him and we are both becoming successful in several different businesses including RevMatrix.

Now as for RevMatrix, I have found that the best way to get people to join under you is what I have stated above. I have made some of the BEST relationships on here and e-mail and contact my people very often. I am a very loyal person and think that I have the BEST team of people EVER! But that is what has worked for me. I also have Lenses and Hub's as you can see below on my signiature if you want to see an example of what you could do to help yourself promote. Otherwise whatever you do is completely up to you. I have some of my team members who make flyers and put them out in their community. I have others who have their very own website showing off our business. I have some who use traffic exchanges and most of us also use social networking sites (yuwie, myspace, facebook) and free advertising sites. I have some who refuse to talk to friends and family, and some who have totally gotten friends, collegues and family in. So, basically whatever you feel that you can do to promote will be fine. And most of us all promote FREE only!

Like you mentioned, the name of the game for this Matrix system or any other Matrix system for that matter is to promote and get people to join. When you do that, you make money.

I have only been in the online business world a few months now and I am also still learning as I go. And believe me, if I can do it, anyone can! I try to make it as easy as possible for anyone who joins my team by immediately sending all the information of everything that I have done to promo that has worked for me. I also promo for my team members as well! But I do expect everyone to also participate in trying to promo for themselves as well.

Please feel free to PM me if there is anything more specific I can answer for you. I hope this has helped you to understand a little bit more about the RevMatrix and how you could possibley succeed.

Julsy

Hello Julsy!

I knew you would be the first person to reply, even after browsing these forums for just a little while. Thank you.

So basically, the "product" Revolutionary Matrix sells is the service of webhosting/blogging, but the real name of it all is simply the system of getting others to join, huh? I suppose those "products" are good tools for doing so, in addition to Squidoo, et al.

So, let's say that I joined under you, for example - but I also saw someone else (who was also a good promoter) and liked what they had to say, and wanted to join their team, too, thus increasing my chances - can you do that? I think I read something about multiple accounts...would that simply entail paying the monthly fee of ten dollars for each person you signed up under?

Thanks again!

You are absolutely correct in everything you said above! You can join as many times as you like under different people. All that is required would be a different screen name, such as add the number 2 to your second screen name or something like that. Also, I am almost sure that a different e-mail is also required as is probably a different e-mail acct with Alertpay! I am not positive about having to have a different Alertpay e-mail, but I am thinking that you do. But, yes, you can join multiple times under different people!

Julsy is absolutely right. You would have to create an account with a new user name, email address, and alertpay address.

All you need to do for a new alertpay email address is simply add it to your current alertpay account. You don't have to sign up for a completely new AP account. You may have to upgrade from basic to Pro, but that's free.

Lots of changes going on with RM guys.

For those of you who haven't visited the RM forum lately, you will find they are under new owners ~ with Glenn now 'one of us' as a member to help them with the changeover. Other changes include being able to use Paypal, as well as, a new bonus incentive starting April 1st that you'll want to read about.

IMPORTANT! ~ Be sure you've read the forum about canceling your current RM account (through AP) and restarting it on your next payment due date (thru AP or PP), as this needs to be done by all members to switch over to new management. (Some of you may find it's already been canceled for you by RM). Your position in the matrix will remain the same. Everything is explained in the forum. Any future payments made through your current (old) account will not be refunded, so be sure to look in on this at the RM forum.

I guess we will see in time if these changes are for the better or not. Many people left RM when James did, and some are looking to join the new matrix program he is getting ready to kick off.

I'm still waiting to see how many people actually come back after they cancel their RM account. At this point I guess I'm still not sure what to think.

(edit to add that Paypal is now available)

I too have joined RM, but I did it through a Knowledge Exploit. Its a free community promoting RM. I am a newbie as you can see, I have not even got my signature right. Perhaps some of you Veterans could check out Knowledge Exploit and let me know if this is a good way to join RM. Seems chances of spillover are greater here if its not a scam.

Important update for RM members ~

For those of you who want to keep your position in the matrix... you need to cancel your account and sign back up under new management very soon. On March 23rd they will be doing a complete purge. If you have not reactivated your account under the new management by then, you may lose your account and your position.

Check the RM forums for the latest info.

Sorry to say I am calling it quits with RevMatrix and focusing 100% on 10K Matrix. I am doing better with it than anything else i have ever tried and they even launched a downline builder themselves, which is kinda like KE, but it gives you three spots into 10K for the price of 2, and all that get in (which they are only taking 100 and only a few spots remain) will get an immediate downline 3 different ways with 3 different spots. I have never seen owner's who are so willing to try and do anything to ensure everyone in their "family" team are all making money!

I really had hope for the Rev Matrix, but the "teamwork" and upline contact just wasn't there for me. I didn't get one e-mail from my immediate upline, and 10K is just exploding and the owner's are there daily in live chat for anyone who needs anything and I do talk to them daily. It really makes a difference, to me anyway!

I wish the best for RevMatrix and hope the new management makes all the difference for you all! I met some really great people in RevMatrix and truly wish you all the best!

I hear what you're saying Julsy. RM is making some nice changes, but a lot of people have still decided to leave. I'm taking a break from it myself... not sure if I will rejoin sometime in the future. I'm actually having a lot more fun with my JD team (and scarfing out on the jerky I get wholesale, lol).

Hope things work out for everyone!

Yes great matrix, if you haven't even been in one before this is definately a good one to start!!! I have had great success so far, so cant wait to see what the future holds for this one. The thing to remember with all of these, is never give up if you can plug in and stay there, it WILL happen!
I also signed up with GDI through Spiderweb (incidently one of the best ways to grab leads) and GDI sign ups have been non exsistant until I tried Tissa Search engine and in first week had 4 sign ups so to me that works!! How long for will be another thing but it has been awesome so far, and as for Rev Matrix I really am expecting big things from his one, so I say jump in!! And enjoy the ride

I just wanted everyone to know that knowledgeexploit.com is doing at launch this saturday and sunday for Revolutionary Matrix at 1 PM PST. We currently have 800 people on our launch list. It's going to be a big one!!! Come join us!!!

If you haven't heard of KE, it is a downline building community with over 2,000 members. Every two weeks we 'launch' into a matrix. For the next few months we are focusing on RM. We actually have advertising in the back office of Revolutionary Matrix, so you know we're legit and a very big deal.

I joined Revolutionary Matrix 2 days ago and already have 3 signups.

Your right about the spillover, I noticed this within the first hour. Some of it was expected as I joined under Brian Bear but I didn't expect it to be that quick.

Good Luck!

Revolutionary Matrix is re-launching on July 12, with a new 3X6 matrix, and the cost is now $35. A little steep, but the payout on the first level is around $5-6 now. The full payout w/ a full matrix-very attainable no w/spillover, is $5,400.
