Hi Bill,
I got the same call tonight!! They kept asking me what my credit card max was. I didn't tell them, and thought told them it wasn't really their business if they wanted to "help" me. Honestly, I haven't been consistent with the AJIP to make a positive or negative claim. I wrote two articles and got a lot of hits to read the articles, but no one had purchased anything. Anyways, I'm looking to create a website instead.
As for that caller, I don't know why I need to shell out thousands of dollars when the package claims that i don't need to spend thousands to make money. Sounds kind of hypocritcal to me

DO NOT give anyone your credit card number if they call over the phone! Also, if this is about "coaching", realize that a lot of people have lost money on coaching scams that were follow ups to products they purchased.
Just visit http://ripoffreport.com and type in "coaching" - you will read about people who have lost THOUSANDS with these kinds of schemes.
Having said all of this, if you are looking for coaching that is not a scam, you can get one on one coaching at Wealthy Affiliate - it WILL NOT cost you an arm and a leg (or your wallet either)...

Forums.mainemoms.com is interesting. Says that AJM is a scam. Listed tons of work at home scams. Wonder how they got there info.
Also, does Kris still own AJM ?

I knew absolutely nothing about online business. I tried the AJIP and learned some basics. I set up a site and used Adwords. My first day I had $26 in sales  - not even a full day. I spent about $3 on Adwords. So far so good - now to build...
AJIP may not be great- but it did for me as advertised - got me started.

Average Joe is NOT a scam - a little over rated, but NOT a scam. Wealthy Affiliate is a lot better - goes into a lot more depth on things Average Joe just scratches the surface on.

However.... I've tried sending an email (to the email address displayed in the FAQ page of that website). And guess what: It bounced back in nanoseconds!
Also, viewing that the page rank of that page is a meagre 1, makes me sceptical about the success promised by "Average Joe". How can a page give tips about success on the internet, when it did not take care about its own 'self' by proper SEO etc, which raise the page rank?

If you want to learn how to make money online, I would suggest Wealthy Affiiate, rather than Average Joe. The main reason why I respect Kris from Average Joe is because he is (or should I was, at least at one time) very responsive to emails when you asked him questions.
I think that overall, the Average Joe Income Package offers information that is solid, but very basic, and considering it sells for $47 for the main ebooks, which you can read within about an hour, Wealthy Affiliate offers a much better return on your investment for what you pay for.

Hey I just go Average joe income package and I have a few questions because it isnt going so well at the moment 
I dont have any more money to spend is it better to write blogs or articles??
Is it the quality or the quantity that is important?
How much money can I expect to earn within a week??

This is perhaps a stupid question and apologies ahead of time. I see so many products out there on clickbank and I am not familiar with many of those. For example I am into body building but am not familiar with the specific products available on clickbank in this regard. How do you guys promote these products? Do you simply read thro' the pitch page, understand and make an evaluation of the products and rate them?

To answer your question, bandruss, if you have the money to spend, you buy them to review them. However, since a lot of people don't have the money to purchase Clickbank products to review them, you can look online for actual reviews of the products you are interested in promoting.
Sometimes, you may not find actual reviews, or you run into "fake" reviews. What you can do in these situations is make a judgement call - I think most Clickbank products are very good, but there are a few to stay away from.
For example, you probably won't have to worry about the "Bass Fishing Secrets" ebook being a scam. On the other hand, products that advertise how you can make "$546 In The Next Five Minutes" are the kinds of products you might want to stay away from.
You can also check out the ripoffreport.com and do research on online forums to see if you can find people who have answered questions about a specific product - most forums that are not internet marketing related don't allow people to promote affiliate products in their signatures, so a person in a forum answering a specific question about a product is probably going to be a lot less biased than a person who is promoting something - not to say that you can't promote products that you beleive in.

This year I was looking for a few digital products to promote on my new parasite site. What I did was go through clickbank and chose a couple that looked like they were promising.
I then emailed the owners of the products, told them I was considering promoting their product on my site and asked them if they would let me have access to the product for the purpose of review and to see if it would be a good fit.
They were happy to give me a copy of the product for review. Perhaps you will have more success with this approach if you do have a site relating to the product rather than just hoping to market via articles, etc., but it's worth asking. All they can do is say no.

Send me a PM if you are thinking about promoting any specific product and are not sure about it - I've read a lot of Clickbank ebooks, and have also done research on some of them, so I might be able to tell you whether or not I have dug up any "dirt" on it.

I'm new to this forum and new to trying to work from home. I did post one other message about the Average Joe Income Package and all I want to say about that here is, I got my money back. I have been researching online now for several days and the only 2 things I can come up with that doesn't need upfront money is surveys and project payday. I want to check out affiliate marketing and I know that takes time and money. I would like to know more about mashup stores, has anyone had any experience in mashup stores? Can you explain the difference in that and mixing up ebay and amazon on one site or is it the same thing?
