I did a little research on this company and decided to pass. I'm already a member of the mammoth list and I like it. I've had an easier time getting people to sign up with that because its $10 instead of $25. I think I've been a member for 2 weeks now. I have 80 people under but but 76 of those havent completed the registration so I've only made $8. Better than nothing in my mind though. I've really only send out 3 or 4 emails promoting it.

I actually joined this because I have a few online stores so once I've grown my list I'll send out promotional emails woo hoo!

Hi!
I found this opportunity online tonight and have spent all evening and into the wee hours of the morning doing my due diligence on this program. I think it looks exciting. Any internet business is probably going to have it's snags! Back in the 1980's when we had a bad recession, MLM offline was huge!! People were looking for ways to supplement their income! I personally think this is going to happen now! And in my humble opinion, what a terrific program than one that only has a $25 investment!!

As far as marketing, people need to understand it's all in the numbers!! I do strictly free advertising. I don't know that I am allowed to put where I advertise on here as I am brand new to this wonderful forum and this is only my second post!! The more you advertise the more responses you will get! The more responses you get, the more chances you have of getting your 10. I have always figured the worst case scenario that 1 out of 100 with join. So, if you need 10 people, you will need to have at least 1000 people look at your ad!! Say you do a solo ad......if it is sent to 1000 people, odds are with you that 10 could sign up!!

This is food for thought!! I hope it helps!!

I am so impressed with the awesome responses that are given in this thread!! All of you seem so caring and genuinely willing to help!! I am proud to be a new member of a wonderful group of like minded people!

$8 in two weeks? Hmmm, Dana, I promise I don't mean it as a criticism at all, but don't you think the fact that you're having an easier time signing people up because they're not actually paying anything, so you're also not earning anything out of it, could be a reason to prefer instead something that perhaps isn't quite so effortless but has the potential to produce 1,000 times as much money?!

Signed up and sent the money's by AlertPay on the 16th and haven't heard a word. In contact with my sponsor but that's about it. Just sent an email to the googlemail address, hope something comes from that. Having to wait beyond the 24 hours is not good, TCLS must have better follow-up or somebody(s) with a shot fuse will make it tough to get sign-ups.

I just joined TCLS last Thursday, 9/25/08 and had no trouble getting my 5 gifts sent off. A small glitch w/AlertPay that got ironed out right away. I'm marketing with free classifieds and ad blasters as well as a drop card I designed. So far no sign ups. I'll keep you all posted.

Hi TJam
I used the contact site and also the googlemail address found earlier on this forum. That one worked. [email protected]
Received my site earlier today and starting now.

The process of setting up an Alert Pay account is a long one indeed. This may be why some of you are not seeing instant results. For myself, it took 3 days to verify my account, and another week for the funds to transfer. It may take an average of 2 weeks before any of you start seeing those little $5 transfers coming in but be patient, if your prospects really want this, they will jump through the hoops to get it. And they will be your most motivated marketers.

By the way, is anyone besides myself doing any marketing offline?

As of today, no new signups on TCLS. I'm still at zero. Sent an email blast out this morning on Blast For Traffic. Where does "The Champion" do his ads?

I'm keeping an eye on this particular thread, as I am probably going to join in the next week or so. I am very curious as to how you all advertise this opportunity as well. I don't mind doing "pay per click" advertising or something similar, if it means I'll get some sign-ups. Unfortunately, I have to start small - but hoping I can grow it large over time.

PPC can be useful but be careful. TCLS claims that using Google Adwords works great but according to Google's policies redirect URLs aren't allowed. I posted my ads multiple times only to have them disapproved every time.

I don't know if anyone else has had that problem. Yahoo PPC works fine though and I generated a few sign ups during a two day campaign.

Wow, I'm really surprised to hear this - it took me almost no time at all! Less than a day to verify my account and no time at all for funds to transfer, that was immediate. That must be a bit dispiriting. Maybe it varies enormously according to how busy they are, or something?

I meant what email you used to sign up with.
I think folx will have a problem if they don't use an email address like gmail.com for their own email address, when signing up for certain plans.

But, you got everything setup so...

Good luck!

PM him, and he will tell you.
It will take a while before you hear from him though...

I'm surprised to hear this too Alexa.
There must be SOME reason some people have problems with these things.
Email address host, country of origin, something...

Folks, take heed!
Just because you may have a problem getting set up with TCLS, that doesn't necessarily mean the problem is with TCLS...

ANNNnnnddd, folx should be aware, QUICK RESULTS with TCLS or ANYTHING ELSE, are more likely NOT to be the case!
(regardless of what folx are posting!!)

Just be realistic, and PATIENT, while you learn the network promotion biz...

meaning: to transfer funds from your bank account to your alert pay account cannot take less than 5 business days.

Im sure it takes no time at all to transfer money to your 5 people, but putting the money into the alert pay account initially takes at least 5 business days.

Not entirely true there Spartan buddy,
There is more than one way to get money into your Alert Pay account!

Let us first realize that we NEED accounts with Alert Pay, PayPal, The Revolution Money Exchange, etc. in order to make money online.

You really should ALREADY have an Alert Pay account, VERIFIED too!
Same for all of the other pay processors.

This you will need to do in order to make money as a network marketer.

And, as you make money as a network marketer, you will naturally ALREADY have money in your pay processor accounts.

One reason I in particular had such a quick time with setting up TCLS is that I already had a verified account, with money in it.

If you have to put money into your Alert Pay account via bank transfer, then yes, that will take you 3 - 5 business days. But that is not by fault or design of TCLS.
It is actually just a result of you not making money online yet, doing anything else, that has been deposited to your Alert Pay account.

$25 is not a lot of money to have in your account.
If you want to make quick purchases, and money transfers, that is what you are going to have to do - have money on hand to do business!

You really should have at least $100 in your pay processor(s) of choice, if you want to be READY to deal.

MORE if you REALLY wanna deal!

That Mywahmommy, is what I have been saying all along!

Learn how to advertise!
Have a good business or product!
Research!

Good luck!

Ah, I see what you mean, then, sorry. (I did the $5 payments by credit-card as advised, through AlertPay, rather than paying money into my AlertPay from my bank account. This is immediate and is what I've been trying to duplicate with people who join through my website. But you can't always do that of course, because not everyone even contacts you - they just sign up.)

I joined the TCLN about 3 weeks ago. It really does work. But you have to put some effort in it to get something out of it. Thanks Cora

Hi TJ,

I use inbox.com. Have had no problem with. They have an "approve sender" folder where all new sender's go into where you can approve or block. Anyway, I'm in and working.

Everybody - When emailing TCLS support please be polite. Most of the time a problem will be because of something we did not do or just plain missed.

Tried a different free classified list this evening. "Your List USA" using one of the emails from TCLS. As of this post, still at zero

I'm still trying to jump through the hoops of their lesser known (not paypal) payment system so I can get in. But I can definately see how this can "explode" virally as someone said, especially when you consider that many people spend $25 on lottery tickets each day and are thrilled just to get there money back once a week.

What's the longest standing cash gifting site? I mean do these $500 investment sites have any kind of shelf life or do they just pack up and repackage themselves for a new audience every few months?

Hi Sashawk, such comments interest (and to be honest concern) me. There seem to be problems/delays for some people with AlertPay which I wasn't aware of at all. It took me only 2 minutes to open an account. Do you mind if I ask exactly what these "hoops" are that are delaying you?
