After skimming a bit through this forum I've found that I'd like to work from home taking surveys, seeing I have a lot of time on my hands since the only occupation I have at the moment is school, and there's only two weeks left of it.

So, I come here asking for some information, for example, can I make money from taking surveys even though I'm 17 (18 being "legal age" in my country, although one can work at 16 with the parents' permission)? And also, because I'm new at this, seeing so many sites confuse me. Is there one you would all recommend? Easy to work with, safe, sure to pay... One that required no money to register, nor a credit card or bank account. (Well, you know the fear. :P)

Thanks!

Well, first off, welcome!

Second, what country are you in, that can make a big difference?

And third, being younger can be a bit of a disadvantage as the companies often are looking for people who are working full time, but I wouldn't say it's a deal breaker. That said, there are some that reall specialize in surveying teens and young adults, so those could be a great fit for you.

But again, first off, which country are you from>

I'm from Portugal (hence the horrid english :x)

Um, I registered at SurveySavvy and arcSurvey yesterday. Still haven't received a single survey, though.

Edit: I've been through your blog (that's how I found the two companies mentioned above. Thanks ) Can you recommend a specific one which would be adequate to me? There's just so many of them in your list that I don't know how to chose!

I actually thought your English was quite good. No worries there.

I would also suggest GlobalTestMarket as they can be quite good internationally. Also, testandvote would be worth a shot.

You could always become an affiliate and set up your own website and earn commission. There is no age restrictions on this and could potentially bring a healthy amount of money if done right.

Done. I'm in arcSurvey, ACOP, GlobalTestMarket and SurveySavvy at the moment. This should be a good start, thanks.

I don't think I'd be ready for that xD

You could however set up a blog (which i s free) you don't need to know html and it is pretty simple and great for beginners, however regular updates would be advisable to keep your search engine ranking high. Just a thought. Good luck with you surveys

* by the way your English is very good

Hello, try lots of things, my daughter is the same age and is currently joining lots of paid surveys and affiliates. Cashcrate is very good and you only have to be 14. The referal program on cashcrate seems pretty good too.

I have never tried cashcrate, is it very legit. I just joined some other survey sites. I am waiting for them to let me know when surveys are available.
