Hi--I have just joined Coastal--another one of Harold's team and the WCYS group. Is there specific information that must be on a business card? I know our ads must include certain info., so I was wondering about cards. I've been looking in the back office, but haven't found anything yet. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Shelby and welcome to the team!

I just got biz cards from a local supplier and paid $50 for 500, I thought that was a fair deal.

Hope that helps,

Roger

Hi Shelby,
I wish you could have been on the call last night. They covered all kinds of ways to advertise for free or for very little money and they also covered flyers and printed stuff like that. One of the members of the call center named Andrew is a graphic designer and has created a website of special call center stuff like cards and stuff like that. I can't remember the address but I will email you when I find out. We can't paste url's in posts on this forum but I will email or call you with it. WELCOME TO THE TEAM!!

Shelby,
I think you need to go to your profile and put your link in your "Signature" or it will get deleted.

Hi Shelby,

Welcome to Coastal! I am on Harold's team too. The website he is refering to is called jumpstartcoastal.com

I bought my business cards at http://www.vistaprint.com. They offer free business cards. You can upgrade and get premium cards with writing on both sides. I did this and got 500 cards for $30.00. They even have a free design of Palm trees with the ocean in the background. If you put the Call Center's number on your business cards you also need to include your id number. If you want, I can scan my business card so you can get an idea.

Hope this helps,
Susan

Hi Shelby,

I forgot to mention I also ordered postcards from Vista Print for a fairly cheap price. They offer free deals all the time.

Wishing you the best of success!
Susan

Thanks Susan--I have ordered from Vista in the past and will probably use them again for this. I would love to see a scan of your card to get some ideas. I don't want to leave anything out and have 500 cards I don't like! I am trying to get in touch wtih Jumpstart to see if they would consider an order of 500, instead of a 1000.

Shelby,

You should check out the fax on demand, document 8, bottom of page 5. A lot of info is located there. I don't know if you can get there from the WCYS back office, but you can get there through the Coastal Wealth Builders back office and the official coastal website support page.

Have a great day!

Brian

I also ordered my cards through VistaPrint and I was pleasantly surprised at how well they turned out! I'm a graphics/web designer, so I designed my own card and uploaded it to VistaPrint. The quality of the final product was excellent. I hadn't used VistaPrint in years because they weren't as good quality when they first started years ago, but their business cards especially are as good as anything you can get in a print shop if you are uploading custom designs. I also love their business card magnets. I ordered a ton of the "Free" stuff when they had their last promotion.

Hi!

Vista print is great.. they have vistaprint.ca for Canucks too! If you are able, watch for specials. Every once in a while they offer them at even better discounts.

COA network (the BOD) also offers rather attractive cards with the CV logo etc on them for reasonable price. See http://www.iprintcenter.com/iPrintCenter/ChooseBusinesscards.aspx [Invalid link - Admin] They also have drop cards, brochures etc!

Stay positive and most important HAVE FUN!

Best wishes
