I saw the tour and the advertising resources of Automated Sales System, I got a question though, do their Live Tour Leads convert? and what about their Auto Emailer, has anybody tried it?

Please let me know,
Thanks,
Kris

Hi Kris,
Most posts regarding the Call Center, if not all of them, refer to the original We Close Your Sales Call Center. I can tell you our conversion rates are high according to Hoyt Farmer, the Call Center owner. I'm afraid I can't comment on the A.S.S.

I'm afraid I can't help you either! i am curious though, and like to look into new and different things to see if they can be of value. Would you be so kind as to provide a link? I gather it is some kind of marketing tool?

I'm right now compiling a website that I intend to be the ultimate Coastal resource, so I would like it to be as inclusive and ever growing as possible!

Cheers

I think it is just another team like the rest of us, isn't it? I think they are the ones who use a "personal sales associate" or something like that. I could be wrong so don't hold me to it. If I remember correctly you provide leads for this person to call or something like that. Maybe you buy leads through them. Heck, I better shut up since I'm not sure. I do think it is where you have one person that deals with just you, though. They might even be actual members of Coastal. Just do a google search. I'm sure the answers are there.

I just did a search for "automated sales system" and it brought up what I though it would. They are recruiting "PMA" Personal Marketing Assistants". They recruit from people already working from home and their job seems to be returning calls from people who show interest in the oportunity. I think there are some people on the WAHM.com board who are in this. The only thing that would throw up a yellow flag to me would be that these people are working from their home and it might be hard to have real supervision over them simply because they work from their home. Again, this is just my opinion and it might work wonderfully but that would be my first question. How would you make sure they were working hard for your benefit if you are just taking their word for it? Also, what if they are members of Coastal? Would they take your leads? I know the guys at our call center can not ever be members of Coastal simply because it would be unethical for them to be handleing our leads if they were. If anyone knows for sure how the PMA system works let us know for sure.

I'm looking at the webpage for one member right now and the PMA takes their profit out of the commissions so if you make a level 1 sale you get $800 and the pma gets $200. Level 2 you get $2800 and the PMA gets $400 and level 3 you get $9005 and the PMA gets $700.

Hi, Thanks for the replies.. By the way hsimpsonjr , I saw your WCYS site, and would like to get more info.. Can you send me an e-mail? It's on my profile... Do they also sell leads? I'm kind of new at this so, I may be targetting the lowest plan and work my way up..

hmmm.. ok thanks guys!

I'm really not keen on sharing my commissions with anyone else when what I already do is very simple and works great. That, and I like to choose the people on my team very carefully. What I would like to find is a WCYS type group that I don't have to pay into again and can turn on and off. That would be very useful to me during times when my health isn't good or I'm on vacation and I just need and want to focus on my team. Right now I just shut down my advertising. I would still do that I think for selection reasons, but it would be really nice to forward my toll free to someone and let them take over here and there for a small share. It works fine as it is right now, but its just not perfect- I have other CSG members that I like and trust who will do that but I know they are busy with their businesses as well.

but.. its worth looking into to see what its all about, so I will see what holes in the boat I can find, if any!

Thanks

You can't go wrong in having both systems working for you. I don't think it's necessary but it certainly doesn't hurt. I will say without a doubt the WCYS system works really well!

As mentioned on previous posts it's not a "no work system" but it is a 'smooth working' system for those looking for it.....soundtank, it's great you are checking us out and going into Harold's site, he's my Director and is easy to work with!

Our system provides leads to purchase, but of course you are free to choose whichever lead source you wish.

Our Call Center is made up of a group of sales professionals who all sign NDA's (non disclosure agreements) so they cannot become Coastal members which alleviates the conflict of interest concerns. We are the original Call Center, opened in Feb. 2005. The average length of stay is approximately 12 months, with many who have been there much longer.

Roger.. I have one correction.. there were in fact call centres that operated with different guidelines prior to 2005. I know because I was checking out Coastal waaay back then!

Its interesting that people on average stay for 12 months. Do they retire after that?

Cheers

All I would like is someone to call a few leads when I get bogged down like I am at the moment, with a script.

Ditto here Terri!

Want to hook up and go team then? I must admit, I don't use a script but I do have lots of fun!

Cheers

Thanks, then it's true that you (should at least) learn something new everyday....Hoyt mentioned the staffing length of service when I signed up....retire? That would be good eh?....I'm not a big fan of scripts either.

Oh, that is what you meant! Really for a telemarketing job, that isn't horrible. I don't like scipts just because I'm NOT a telemarketer! I'd much rather have a real conversation with people. Granted, when I was first starting out I hung onto my script for dear life. Once I woke up and relaxed, I realized that it isn't hard at all, so now I use it as a guideline only. I still teach using it for at least being very familiar with one when someone is starting out, so that people aren't stuck wondering what to say next until they are really comfortable and expert at their business. But I have my team members personalize one and do it their way so it is a natural conversation for them.

Cheers

The call center is in it's second ownership with Hoyt Farmer. Here is a little quick history. One of Jeff Mills signups named Paul decided several years ago that a call center would be a great idea and he approached Jeff about the idea. Jeff told him to give it a try and let him know how it went. Well, he did and made 30 sales in a month. The next month he made even more sales and then he and Jeff decided to just migrate all of Jeff's team that wanted it into the call center. Paul later decided to focus on his other business (not home based) and sold the call center to Hoyt Farmer who is EXTREMELY experienced in bizops and everything has just exploded straight up since then. I don't know if many know this but Jeff Mills actually started with CSG. Jeff has taught me alot and I appreciate his mentoring me because it has made me lots of money and it is also making my members money, too!

Agreed, one thing I do preach to new members is to get on the calls to learn the product and the biz.....while they'll need a script in the beginning it's so much better when the day comes that you can throw it away and have a real chat with your prospects.

I think people find out after they make a few sales that they can decide what a new prospect needs to hear first and they just grow into the whole presentation thing.

Thanks for that information on your previous post, cheers Harold.
I knew Paul Langley owned the Call Center before but I didn't know he passed the baton to Hoyt.....speaking of mentors, I'm having lunch with mine on Friday. He is a founding member of an NHL Hockey Team (Ottawa Senators) and a former owner of a Professional Football Team in the CFL. I'm lucky to call him a good friend too.

Hello

the biggest difference between the automated sales system and we close your sales, is that the automated sales people pick up the phone as soon as a prospect opts into the website, with the wecloseyoursales system, they only return calls once a prospect has been requested to be called.

I have been with the wecloseyoursales for over 2 yrs now. I am actually going to join the automated one so I will be able to report to my group which one has the best closing %.

I know what Hoyt says, and I know that he is a great guy, but he would not really say, oh the other group closes more sales than we do.

I think it is a matter of preference, but I am also willing to join and find out for myself.

Personally I close most of the sales myself, but I know that this may not be feasable for most.

Cheers

Maria,
How do they deal with making sure that the PMA works for you? How do you know that if they don't want to work today that they just won't?

It costs $700 to join Automated call system doesn't it?

With WCYS the client has to call them.

Hey Maria!

I'd be really interested to hear about your results!. Especially the ratio of sales. Do they hold true to the 70% level II statistic?

I like that you can be your own PMA- that is the turn it on and off ability. Also the fact that you can choose a PMA and your clients and you will always get the same person- that is consistency for clients and the ability for me to choose someone that understands my own values. A better way for me. I still love doing it myself, but the commissions are also much more reasonable. They don't talk about training team members though? That is a huge piece that is crucial. I'd love to know all the technical details of all that. Also, how much do you have to pay to come in? I'm not willing to pay another entire L3 commission! How about cost of websites? Do you have to use theres, or can you use your own and just transfer your number and email address over?

Best of luck with it! i rather suspect that you will continue to do much better on your own conversion wise. The nature of the business is people. However, its very cool that they can step in when you want that ability to not work at all. I work about 15 hours a week with great results, but am thinking that I could use them to be "working" 24/7??

Cheers
