I've tried just a little of buying "hits" to my site - but had no results

I also tried emailing 30,000 a day for a month with no results

Does anyone know of any good sources for purchasing traffic
that actually gets results?

I have not tried buying E-zine solo ads yet - is that a better
option? If so is there a good source for that?

Thanks so much for your help!
Carole

Hi Carole,

You seem to have alot of great questions, where's your director??

Most online marketing options are scams. I've invested thousands in things that "were" supposed to be the latest and greatest.

It's all trial and error. We are entrepreneurs and RISK is a big part of what we do. If you can't afford to risk trying it...don't do it.

Leads are the BEST option for building your business. Why?? Because for $X you get Y leads and you KNOW how many people you'll have to talk with.

Hope this helps.

Hi Jay,
Thanks for your reply. Actually I've been at Coastal for 2 years successfully- full time - and quit my job after only 2 months. In answer to your question - where's my director - he is only does one form of marketing - purchasing leads.
I did that successfully too - but am now expanding and taking my business to new levels.

I'm learning a lot about online marketing, and getting more creative about leveraging my time.
I'm always looking for new things that work to help
my team and myself make sales.

I'm taking several new directions now.
I want to see about purchasing Traffic
(I've not done that successfully yet and need
some help there)
Also - i would like to start some Home parties going
and would like feedback from people who have
had success - so that I can set my team members
up to be successful in that direction.
Have you done either of these?
If so I'd love to hear about what you found.
Thanks - I've gotten some good advice here
already.
Best Regards,
Carole

Not when you are intent on finding the opportunity thats right for them. Research and learn all you can about what is out there in the way of Home Based Businesses. That way you can do what leaders do.....Lead. Your opportunity may not be right for everyone. You have to just face that. But if you still help that person with suggestions and guidance. That creates a bond with that person. Maybe the business that they do find can benifit you somehow. Whatever the case you are networking and thats what we do.

Hi,

Yes, stay away from that kind of traffic. If you have a $2 program or $0.99 maybe worth it.
What we did was we distributed 1000 flyers with several business opportunity ads including my ad for coastal. Leads are still coming in, it happened last week. Please don't ask for area of distribution.
But will tell you if is worth it or not.

Hi LM,

I did something similar in a shopping center where my franchise was located. We did 1000 3 color flyers for $350.

Great for coupons, I would not recommend it for Coastal.

That's Ok,

I'm getting plenty of leads since I'm in #1 spot on google for my keyword.

Why would anyone buy traffic? There are many avenues of advertising for free out there. Try Myspace, Youtube and all of the free advertising forums out there. I have learned first hand from Jay how effective being out on the internet can be. If you do a Goggle search you find Jay everywhere. You can do the same and for free. Forums like this are great as well. Also get out into your community as again that is free advertising.

I dont know about you but paying someone to do my advertising doesnt seem cost effective. Id rather try my hand on the net.

Purchasing Traffic..... How to do it.

1. Go to high traffic site, in your niche (biz opp niche or travel niche)
2. See if they have ads on that site or not
2a. if they have ads, inquire as to their costs
2b. if they do not, ask if they will make you a deal and put up a banner and you offer them a trip voucher! or pay them a small amount as a test.

Remember the 3 M's of marketing.....

Use the right MESSAGE (words)
to the right target MARKET (niche of people)
with the right MEDIA delivery (online, offline, classifieds, PPC, Banners)

If you can get the right message in the right market using the right media, you'll get a TON of traffic at hardly any cost.

99% of the mistakes people make with their business is the wrong message in the wrong market, with the wrong media delivery.

Why would some one hand out flyers at a grocery store about coastal... for example?

Wrong place...... a grocery store is where people buy food, not vacations.

Wrong message... people are looking for coupons on beer and pop, Milk, etc.. not travel

Wrong media.... people hate getting flyers when their hands are full, carts are full, kids are pulling at their leg to get home and eat the candy they just got.

But... what if you changed it up a bit.....

Went to a travel club meetup that meets once a month in your local area. (target market is good)

Handed out a flyer giving all the attendees a free voucher (right MEDIA)

Told people they could save up to 75% off all travel and make $1000 just helping other save up to 75% off travel too (right message)

When you look at marketing this way.... You'll always score with a ton of leads and interest.

I have a banner up on one site, and I am getting a huge amount of clicks which lead to optins. It's a different niche, but the matches are all there.

Now, will those opt-ins be good for anything? Maybe. Time will tell as my automated follow system does the educating for me, and the people "POP" when they are ready and call me or my sales center.

This is a good topic for a future team training webinar on banner ads and buying real media on real websites at really low costs per click.
