Well over the last few days I have read over and studied and pulled a part the BOD marketing site and training site and I am loving it.

It has a wealth of information, the autoresponder emails are very good, the marketing sites are on point and very professional and for someone who wants to market B2B the business incentives marketing site is ideal.

Just thought I would share.

As the COA network is the official site for Coastal I believe its an essential part of anyones business. Of course you can create your own sites and systems to compliment your business but you should have the official site. I love the flexiblility of their back office and I truly love the business incentives site. That is a winner. I commend the COA BOD for giving us such an amazing tool. After being with CSG for over 2 years the COA sites are a breath of fresh air. Thank you COA!!!!

Quick question,

is COA provide you with leads or just some kind of websites and back office what you have to fill with your own leads??

If no leads provided, I think is back to square one...

I too have been looking into switching to the COA sites and back of office tools, however I believe the COA back of office tools are much more manual than the CSG Mac system. With the CSG Mac system all of the campaigns are already pre-written for us, the distribution timing is also coordinated and e-mails are sent out on our behalf. I don't believe that is the case with the COA system, I also don't believe you are provided with an e-mail address, pre-populated e-mail templates etc.

Can those of you who already use it provide those of us who don't with some more detailed insight? I had pretty much decided to switch systems until I found out how much more time the COA system would take me to use in terms of setting everything up etc. Time that the CSG has already put in on my behalf and yes I do need to pay a bit more for the CSG Mac system, but given that I am working full-time right now and my business part-time I will take all of the help that I can get so I can maximize my time doing things that will help bring me sales and $$.

To answer your questions steph. The COA system has pre-writen campaigns as well. It's simple to use and less complicated. There's a pre-writen handbook that makes it easy to use as well.

The BOD also recommends ContactTalk for back office autoresponders. One time fee, no monthly charge. All of your prewritten campaigns can be loaded, as well a personal messages to your optins and/or leads. I like the idea of personal messages. It keeps you in front of people and it is nice for people to get something other than canned emails.

Hi Noreen,

When you say pre-written messages, are you referring to ones that you have written or ones that have been written by an external marketing company?

Thanks,
Steph

The COA has great prewritten messages as well as giving you the ability to create your own web forms as well as triggered campaigns. This made the decision easy for me. I love the functionality of this system. In addition the fact we get updates from the BOD each week helps. I love it.

I've already purchased a level 2 package, do I have to purchase it all over again if I switch from CSG sites to the COA network?

So, I don't really need CSG at all?

Thank You,
Robert

That is correct. If you are looking to make the switch to COA, just stop any payments to CSG for whatever you are paying for and set yourself up with COA. Even though I am with the call center, I still have a retail site through COA and I still use the "official" tools for my business.

You are not tied to CSG, as long as you made your first two pass up sales. Then it might be a bit more complicated for a number of reasons.

Good luck and let us know how it turns out and what you think.

A common misconception in the Coastal industry is that if you join with one group and then make a business decision to leave that group you need to start over by buying a new package. That is as far from the truth as you can be. Now I am not promoting at after you sign up with a director you go running to another. The Coastal Package is a lifetime package. Lifetime being the operative word. I hope that the word spreads and everyone gets it.

Becoming successful with Coastal Vacations can be an education if you are not connected to the right group and the right system. But, who is it right for??? YOU!!!

I encourage everyone to stay connected to the official Coastal Vacations System as this is where the product comes from and it's a system that has over 13 years of success and continues to grow and be upgraded.

As you begin to look for other options to be successful with Coastal Vacations your going to find that you don't have to purchase another membership.

I've invested tens of thousands of dollars in my Coastal Business to find out what works and what doesn't. Working with the right team allows you to avoid the mistakes that many will make early in their business...like buying expensive leads or as many have found, plugging into a system that just doesn't work.

If I can be of assistance to you....just ask!

I really agree with Jay.

I switched to the BOD systems, calls and training and it has been a blessing.

I find that many of the "systems" are recruiting focused and to some people that may be a turn off. There isn't even a marketing system that is product focused that I have seen other than the Official system.

Because I want to do both both, recruit and market the awesome product the Official System is the best fit for me.

Not to bash the CSG but I was looking at some of their products they sell like the Fundraising kit and B2B kit, quite pricey I might add, it appers the trips/vouchers they include in the package are not even from our Coastal package, am I mistaken?

From my understanding and forgive me if im wrong the trips are from a different vendor. I dont have an issue with that as I myself use various vendors. My issue is with the price. If you arent in Canada (they have a restriction on Canadians, not sure why but)you can become a distributor for the vendor company and get them at a much cheaper price. I cant knock the CSG for making a profit thats what business is about but with a little research on your own you can get them at wholesale yourself as opposed to retail. Hey arent we in business to buy wholesale and market to clients, not members, retail. Just my thoughts.

It's not a matter of personal preference. One of the reasons I left the CSG is because they quit informing their subscribers about the Official Coastal Calls and Events. If you look in the CSG back office you'll find that there's no information about Official Coastal Vacations recorded calls or Live Calls. In fact, they are not even telling the subscribers that there's an Official Coastal Event this weekend.

Sorry...but it goes beyond a personal preference.

Yes, they are...but they are also keeping their subscribers from Official Coastal Information. It's a shame too, because after a while, you begin to hear the same thing over and over with the CSG. Going to the Official Coastal Events does give you a different perspective and allows you to see the new tools and get the new vacations.

I love the official Coastal Events as you get a much better perspective on what we really have our hands on as far as a business with Coastal Vacations.

Although we may be with different support groups within Coastal, our product is the Coastal Vacations travel package and the Board of Directors does an amazing job of keeping it updated and are constantly adding new vacations to our package and enhancing it.By staying plugged into the events and the COA site, we are always on top of what is new...

I love this business and my hat is off to the BOD for everything they do for us!!

Good so if the next event isn't till March and there probably won't be any new certs, vacations, cards for the package I guess it's safe to renew now and send in the $89 as I didn't get any of the new cards etc from the last 3 events.
