I, after a lot of time and searching decided to make the plunge and invest if the PL course in early Jan 2009. At this point I don't regret it and what I have learned has more than compensated me for my investment.
To date I have spent a lot of my spare time reading the material in the course and tried a few things but haven't made any money yet, but I will. I feel it.
It took a while but I finally found this forum and I hope that I can get some of my many questions asked even though some of them have been asked before but answered it looks like offline.
First of all how do I contact Mike, I have tried a couple of times but got no response, I also understand there is a Customer Servicve contact but again I don't know how to contact them. Whould someone please help me. Thanks in advance.
I will be leaving my current position at the end of April of this year and I am hoping to use Internet Marketing as a tool to getting some additional income, but I am having a hard time determining where to start, I am computer savvy but not internet savvy so any advice would be welcome.
Thanks for any advise you can give me.

Hi Gary,
I"m glad that you are sticking with the course! Thats great to hear. There are many people who are having problems with email support. If you have a look throughout this profit lance forum, there are others who have posted the same question. I've already sent a complaint through email support because I"m sick of people not getting replies back. We'll see if they respond. In the meantime, the best you can do is search through this forum because there are many people who will help you and answer your questions!

Hi Gary,
Depending what questions you have for Mike, you can probably get answers more quickly and thoroughly here.
I am sure Mike does not have time to answer each email he gets individually. I am not sure why he gives that option as it is VERY time consuming to answer emails!
I am not using PL at the moment but am assuming there will be someone around shortly to give some insight on that for you...
In the meantime, if you have a question there is a good chance it may be on the forum somewhere so if you use the google search function at the bottom of the page here you can search the forum for any topic... I do it all the time.
And if you like, just start a new post and ask away - others always benefit from questions asked about internet marketing...

Thanks to both makemoneyonline and mountainmom5, I appreciate your advise and I will definitely follow it.
I don't know if anyone can answer my question except for Mike or someone at PL. I get, and I am sure everyone does, these websites for adsense. One of them has a topic but all the material with it relates to another topic. Anyways, I was trying to get a hold of someone in PL to see if they could correct the error.

So your adsense ads are 'off topic' ?
Sometimes they are like that at first for a day or so until the stuff gets indexed but if it has been longer than that - you might want to go to keyword search tool at seobook.com and see what google actually 'sees' when they crawl your site.
Go to the keyword sandbox after you log in and then make sure the website content is clicked on the left hand side....
Enter your url and see what happens...
Even though you may have a topic on there, google spiders may read something else if it isn't correctly optimized for your topic.

Hi Gary,
I don't have PL either, but from what I've read here in the forum from other PL users, the websites PL offers for adsense are really only of benefit as an "example" of what you can create.
They really aren't worth even bothering with otherwise. Unless things have changed, others have indicated that you are unable to change the content of those sites - so every PL user gets the exact same ones.
The idea is to create your own sites with your own unique content on a subject of interest to YOU. Properly built and optimized, that is how you can get traffic to your own site and earn income from Adsense.

Hi Mountainmom5,
I hadn't really got that far. I was simply unzipping the file and noticed that all the content pages were different.
I have been reading a lot on the forum and I too are like any other newbies, full of information from PL but not knowing what to do next.
I thought I would try the OWM that you recommended so I got the 18 free pages to read tonight. I wnet through you blog to get it.
Thanks for your input and I hope that someday SOON I will be able to offer assistance to other newbies.

Hi Gary,
One thing is for certain. Get another job until your online endeavors can consistently support you for 3 months minimum.
Other than that try the 30 Day Challenge for free:

Keep posting on this forum and read everything you can on the make money online sites.
When ready, start experimenting on free sites such as Squidoo, Blogger, and the like.
Some day you'll be ready for paid hosting and perhaps even WordPress.org (not to be confused with WordPress.com). Don't rush it but know that paid hosting is where the real money is at.

Have fun with it.... take some time to digest it all and as with anything else, start with what you understand, implement those strategies and then as you come back and re-read it, other things will become more clear. The same works for the PL, I am sure....
