I've been concentrating on getting traffic. Striped out the adsense ads during my submission campaign. That's fine. My traffic is definately increasing, but I am not converting? I've done two sales with even less traffic. What I have on my site is a review page of the different products I am an affiliate for. I don't have a hard sell page. I use my site to give information about the product, scientific evidence, personal experience etc instead. I am wondering if I should do a hard sell page as well. But then you can only do that for one product I'd think? The review page, is selling the same technology, but different brands.

Suggestions, thoughts ... appreciated. I'm feeling a tad disheartened.

Thanks Opendomain. I am just in the process of creating my hard sell page, I'll post it in the next day or two.

The traffic you are getting may not be targetted, consider other traffic sources

Birdgirl,

It sounds like you have a great plan and I would likely go with it, with the understanding that I haven't viewed your page.

There is nothing wrong with having your affiliate links (plural) lead off of your main site to separate sites for each product. You can hard sell each product on it's own page.

So, if you have three affiliate links on your main site. You might have three separate hard sell pages.

If you plan on using more than one domain, you might check out my sig. It would save you a ton of money.

Thanks everyone, I have been busy, and so not been able to get my hard sell page along as much as possible.

As far as my traffic is concerned, it is steadily increasing, and I believe it is mostly targetted because my whole campaign is about content and listings specific to the product line. I also got a call from the BBC last nigth who found my site and wanted to discuss, and they gave me some great plugging. I am not sure how else I would determine how to find out if it is targetted.

You can see my site with a review page link. at

Any feedback much appreciated. BTW I am going to add to the review page eventually. As you know, there is always so much to do. Will also get the hard sell page link to you as soon as I am done.

Thanks again.

BirdGirl,

Congrats on the BBC inquiry. I'd consider incorporating that conversation on your site some how. Let us know what becomes of it.
