I've been at it for a few months now and have set up cool blogs, a website, adsense, clickbank links, ect. To date I've earned .38 cents.
I refuse to be an unsuccessful guy at this, but can't seem to crack the code. My question is WHAT specific articles do I need to be directing my attention to within the profit lance system? What videos? Archer 10, you seem to be doing very well with clickbank. How? makemoneyonline, hemjoe, I'm not asking you to reveal your niches! Honest! Just some guidance thats specific enough for me to 'get it' and start turning a profit.
I don't think it's at all fair for someone to put in all the work and have someone else 'steal' the answers from them without putting the time in. I get that! I'm not asking for that.
I spend several hours a day on this and have for months. I'm just alone at my house when I have a question.
Example: check out my last post! 60 views, a big fat ZERO answers!
I'm not trying to isolate myself from you all with this post. Just get some guidance. That's all.
(I install home theater flat screen tv's. Have a technical question on that subject? FIRE AWAY. I have 11 years experience.
This post may help a lot of other Profit Lancers besides myself.

Thanks all!

Jadimon like you when i first started out it was like 2 months unitil i made my first clickbank sale, so don't feel you are alone it does take time to learn and break the dead lock.

Just a couple of questions, what traffic generation techniques have you tried, if none then this is a great place to start reading within the profit lance course.

also how regularly are you updating the content on your blogs and website, this is also important as you want the search engines to regularly crawl you site.

Another question.....sorry about all the questions.... are you monitoring how much traffic you are getting to your sites?? and if so how much do you get on average.

--I find the project section is a great place to start with profit lance system, the videos and techniques for finding niches are very useful. Follow this through step by step.
--Under the blueprint section the adsense guide is very useful another step by step guide and one i working through at the moment.

These are two great places to start....sorry for rambling to much but the worse thing you can do is have a negative attitude, it rubs off in the way you work and therefore the quality and amount you achieve is minimised.

I hope this helps a little.

The projects section is awesome. I would start there and work through the videos. Make sure you read the 'adsense plan' that is in the course and make sure you follow it exactly. Use the free wordtracker tool to find keywords that have high search volumes per day. Make sure you use this. It is a goldmine. You can pick a niche you are interested in and then find some keywords that have around 200 searches per day in google. You can build articles around these keywords if they have low competition in google. What I usually do is I type the keyword in to google and see what turns up on the first page. If I see some articles for ezinearticles and some blogger blogs, then that lets me know that it isn't hard to get an article or blog ranked for the keyword on the first page. Read the 'article marketing' section in the 'getting traffic' part of the course. If you still need help, contact me and I'll show you an example of one of my sites and how I did the keyword research.
Cheers

How are you getting traffic to your site/blog?

I'm generating traffic to my daughters blog through her fellow jrotc members and linking her blog address to forums in her signature. Also using her signature on emails. As for myself. I threw together a website for home theater installation that I'm using as an experiment to learn how to market on the internet. I've sent out a blast email to all of my friends with that link and I'm paying for google adwords to drive traffic to the site. so far I get about 4-5 visitors a day to the website. I don't have any products that are mine alone to sell so I was thinking clickbank is the way to go for now. Am I wrong in that thinking?

Hemjoe, I appreciate your taking the time to ask the questions that you did. I will take your and moneymakingonlines' advice and direct my attention to the areas of the course you have suggested.
Thanks,

I have a question about about domain names. Does the name have to be all connected? for example: www.dogtrainer.com Can it be www.dog-trainer.com and have high rank?

I noticed that when I did a search on two words, sites containing '-' did come up on top so I'm thinking it should be alright, but PL doesn't mention that.

Also, I'm not sure how good of a site does Adsense plan sites have to be. Wish Mike had shown some example.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,

James

The domain name doesn't have to be connected.
