Would somebody look at my lens and critique it? I feel like I've stared at it for so long that it will never get any better. thanks

Your lens look good, it looks better than the one I created. I'm not good at building or creating anything, I'll leave that up to the pros.

Hi simapr,

Your lens looks good and it is set up effectively. I have a couple minor tips.

You might change the titles in your last Amazon module and Guestbook to relevant phrases. Since your lens is about weddings, you might go into the intro module and click the Discovery Tool tab.

Turn it off since it thinks your lens is about Gaming. It shows up as the blue section below your intro module that says Explore Related Pages. Not sure why it thinks your lens is about gaming.

Can't think of any other tweaks. Nice job :)

I haven't started driving traffic yet. I wanted to make it as good as I could first.
I think I'll write a couple of ezine's, do the social bookmarking, and usfreeads.
Any suggestions?

Can you "ping" squidoo?

Hi simapr,

You're welcome. Good game plan. You might also create a press release.

Yes, you can ping your lens :)

I'd write (or have written) 15 or so long tail keyword articles pointing back to your lens for the article marketing part.

Hi Simapr,
Your lens looks great!
I would change this grammer :
"Some pictures that me and my wife took when we decorate weddings...: to my wife and I
This may help also:
Rather than the link text reading "Click Here" It may be helpful to have something a little more enticing
ex: Click here to discover how to have the wedding you have always dreampt of....
I gave you 5 stars when I was there!
Does anyone want to rate my humble lens?
PS. I pasted the link to my browswer because if you get several ratings from the same site Squidoo becomes suspicious ( I hear)

simapr,
A keyword is a phrase that is your product or service. Let's use Dog Training. So then a long tail keyword phrase might be- How to train your dog. Or even better- How can I train my Yorkshire Terrier?. I've got a free ebook coming out that explains all this.

Thanks guys. NTC, I can't do anything about the "me and my wife" thing as that's from u tube. At least I don't think I can edit it. That's a good idea to come up with something besides "click here". I'm going to improve it as soon as I get the chance.

Thanks BP. One day I hope to know a fraction of what ya'll know. Til then I'm enjoying learning.

Wow, didn't realize there was so many cures.

Your lens looks great!

To promote, you should at least-
1) Ping your blog (after every update)
2) Write several articles to all the free places
3) write several press releases
4) use us free ads and others
5) use keywords (correctly)
6) submit to search engines
7) visit forums and offer real help (social network)

There is so much that you can do for and with your blog!!

Looks great and good luck to ya!!!
