Anyone willing to share ideas that they have actually used and have proven to work to improve a campaigns Google quality score?
Anyone achieved a sustained 9/9 or higher and willing to share the details of that great accomplishment?
Anyone here consistently getting ppc bids of below .15c Or even below .05c?
If you can prove this and your info is current, I am willing to pay you to share.

Thank you getagrip. That is a post from two and a half years ago. I read all of it.
Many changes have taken place since them with ppc. Overture has changed the name and now costs a fee. I tried wordtracker for 7 days and fail to see any value in it at all.
I am exhausted from wasting my time with useless outdated material. Seriously....
Every two hours I spend on outdated, useless information is time I will never get back.
One thing is fairly certain. I have seen you in this forum for the year I have been around. It is VERY doubtful that you would still be here if you weren't making money.
Are you able to get a sustained 9/9 or better with clicks under .05c using techniques from 2006? if not, can you attain this another way?
Very eager to know.

The post is an older post, but the principles are still valid today, although you probably aren't going to see clicks for 5 cents, as that is very rare, EXCEPT when you use the Content Network.
If you do use the Content Network, make sure to create seperate adgroups and bids for the Content Network, because you can get lower prices than you can with the Search Network. So, you would have seperate adgroups and bid prices with the Content Network turned on, and the Search Network turned off, and vise versa. One word of caution: although the Content Network is better than it was two years ago, it is not going to be as targeted as the Search Network.
For the Search Network, the big thing to do is make sure your ads and keywords are relevant to your website. So, if you are bidding on "making money online", make sure your ad AND your website contain "making money online", as this should increase your quality score while giving you a lower cost per click.
Also, make sure your adgroups contain similar keywords. For example, you would NOT want to use "making money online" and "earning cash on the internet" in the same adgroup, as this will hurt your relevancy score, as the keywords are different.
You may also allow you to consider using Site Targeting, which is when your ads appear on specific sites relevant to your niche.

I went back to the project in my sig and changed the title, meta tags, h1, h2, and h3 tags.
And much of my content to be VERY relevant to the term "video seo"
my page source code is evidence of this, yet my Google quality score is a 1/10 for "video seo".
By contrast, on two of my Amazon campaigns if I use keywords that match the title of my ad, I have seen 8/10 and one 9/10.

Although I don't call myself an expert on this, this is how I see it.
Merely by stuffing keywords in your page, if you can expect quality score to rise, don't you think everybody would be doing this? Google is far intelligent than you can imagine.
Here's what I think dictates Quality Score:
1) Links to related pages on the concerned page.
2) Overall theme of the page.
Think this way. The more useful information you have on your page, the more your quality score.

You have a good start with what you said you did in your reply to my earlier comment.
As Vishal mentioned Google knows better than we do about the theme of a page. Among other components of the algo, they use a thing called Latent Semantic Indexing (L.S.I.) to measure relevancy.
LSI checks for related phrases and terms throughout a page aka Page Theme.
As Vishal also pointed out, the outbound links also count for relevancy - especially the anchor text used in your link and the relevancy of the page that it points to.
Furthermore, Google will check to see how relevant a page is in regards to the other pages on your site.
As far as PPC phrases go, it can also depend upon how relevant the group of phrases is as a whole. Group [very] similar phrases together and remove those that don't pass that kind of filter.
If you are still having trouble after you tune your page, consider isolating the phrase you speak of by placing it in its own ad group.
If after all of this, you are still getting a low quality score for the phrase, contact Google and explain your situation. Be nice and ask how you might improve your score.
