Hey guys, im a student in the United Kingdom, and im really interested in trying to atleast do something with the internet. I spend most of my time on the internet, so i decided to delve into this online marketing routine.
Ive been reading through alot of posts, and theres talks about ProfitLance, and other programs, but Profit Lance seems to be the one that everyone talks about.
Let me cut myself there and get straight to the point. I find it hard for me to get physical work, which means im constantly low on money, i just simply wanted to be pointed in the right direction of where to begin! I know there is a whole process that i will have to go through, but most of the them ask consumers to pay, and i simply cannot afford most, if not all of them.
Is there anything anyone can suggest that helps, and specifically targets people like me who are low on income but are motivated to put an extra effort in.

Welcome Aedous!
So you are ready to take the plunge and learn about internet marketing? 
Internet Marketing is actually designed for people with more time than money, I always think, as it definitely takes time, lots of time, to get through the learning curve, but once you have your brain wrapped around it all, the possibilities are endless!
In a nutshell - you can find products to promote at places like Commission Junction, Clickbank (my favorite , ShareASale, etc... (these places are all free to register at) and then go build blogs, Squidoo lenses, hubpages, and any other free places..... where you can write about, blog about and promote your products...
What programs like Profit Lance, One Week Marketing, Blogging to the Bank, Wealthy Affiliate etc will help you with is learn HOW to do the internet marketing part... some of them may stress to market THEIR products somewhat, but you can use any of the methods learned thru the various programs to market anything you want to.

Hi Aedous,
It's great to get started while you are young building an online business. If you take it one step at a time and stick with it, you'll have something really worthwhile in a few years. Imagine that!
There are free ebooks and resources to help you learn online marketing without having to pay for a "program." It's a good idea to read through a few of them and try to get as much of a basic understanding as you can before you jump in and start 'doing.'
As MM5 said, there are even free methods of advertising once you understand the best way of doing it, too, if you are unable to come up with any start up money to purchase your own domain, hosting, or site building package.
It may take you a lot longer to go that route, but it can be done with patience and persistence. Just be sure to educate yourself first so that you know what you are doing and why and you don't end up spinning your wheels and wasting your time.

How about trying affiliate marketing? It is free
But you will need to know the internet marketing basis and how to promote the products in order to earn some money.

Basically, you need to do affiliate marketing, which is basically explained in the above posts. I personally would recommend purchasing a membership in an affiliate marketing program e.g. my online income system, as they will guide you through the process.

Welcome!!!
I have many things to share with you. Today interent is not just a tool to communicate but it is a great place to earn money. Famous ways of earning money are giving below. You can choose from it. I am mentioning my expertise in each column.
1) Google Adsense - http://google.com/adsense
If you have a website with a descent amount of traffic, Google Adsense is one of the excellent way to earn money. This works on paid per click basis. You put the adsense javascript in your website and you get ads from google server. You will be earning if any of your visitor clicks the ad. Cost may vary from $0.01 to $15 per click.
My Experience: I am earning from adsense. I made around $700 a month from it, but now I am making around $100 a month because of some personal stuffs. I am trying to come back again.
2) Affiliate programs:
This works on a commission per sale basis. You promote some person's product. If you make a sale or a lead (action) you get commissions. Commission may vary from $1 to $1000 or even more depending on the product.
Following are the two famous affiliate programs
2.1) CJ - Commission junction - http://cj.com
Here you will find lot of products to select and sell. Products may be like hosting package or a hard core product like shoes and accessories.
2.2) CB - Click Bank - http://clickbank.com
The products promoted by click bank are digital products (Those that doen't need any shipping) like ebooks , memberships to websites. You get commisison upto 75%. Yes, it is true. If you get a sale for $100 you may get commission upto $75.
There are many other affiliate programs but the above two are very famous. Some other famous affiliate programs are linkshare, share a sale.
My Experience: I made $20 in cj and went into loss in CB. Basically I have not shown any interest in affiliate programs. I have plans for the future but as of now I am not touching this areas.
3) PTC:
This is very simple to earn money. Just you could spend 15 minutes a day and you can make over $500 easily a month. The concept goes here. You click an ad and wait for a pre-specified time and you get the amount that is pledged for that ad. Rates vary from $0.01 to $5 per ad. Mostly you will be watching it for a time of 30 second.
My Experience:
I am earning $500 from this programs. Though scams are a big problem here, I have my own way of accomploshing it and I am successfully doing this for over 6 months.
Aedous, I hope I have answered a bit and cleared your initial questions. There are many more way of earning money like domain trading and other stuffs. There may be other ways that I am not aware of (This community will help you do so).

Hello Adeous,
Welcome to the forum. You made a wise decision to browse around the forum to see what everyone is talking about.
There are many choices out there for anyone to make money online. This thread has definitely put some light on the subject for you. I do agree with Newbie Shield, you need to have a basic knowledge of how to make money online.
You can receive this training through a program or e-books whichever you do best at. The only way to make it work is through practice of the techniques and trail and error.
All programs operate differently, so pick out some ones you like that has some guidance to, do research on the product/program, and pick which one clicks with you the best.
Making money online does take a lot of your time and a little money at first. You started in the right area due to your situation. If you have any questions about anything, you can find the answers here.

Like others in the forum, I definately recommend internet marketing. However, there is a learning curve, and it can be very challenging at times - you will likely have some "I want to pull my hair out" moments, but it can be profitable in the long run. Having said that, I don't think it is something you should try and "depend" on until you have a lot of experience, so if you can, I would recommend trying to find a regular job, and learn internet marketing in your spare time.
