Hi,

I'm new to this website and I am searching for a work-from-home job, mainly a data entry job, or something to that effect, to earn some extra income to help pay the bills (just like everyone else). Does anyone know of any of these programs out there that are legitimate money making programs? I have been researching "dataentrysite.com" as well as a few others like it, and I am extremely skeptical that most everything that I am looking at is a scam. I am looking to make a few hundred per week after my regular working hours. Can someone please give me some advice to what has worked for them? Thanks

If you do decide to purchase a data entry product, make sure it is through Clickbank so you can get a refund if you don't like it. The reason I mention this is because many of the data entry type products have refund rates of over 25%, which is extremely high. It would also be best to pay by a debit or credit card, because refund turn around times are much faster campared to if you pay by e-check. Also, sometimes, if you email a merchant requesting a refund, they may not answer, but you can go directly through Clickbank's customer service to get a refund if you need to. As you can see, I'm not a believer in data entry products!

You can make a descent amount of money by blogging and online article writing, although it may take a little while to get started...but there are virtually no start up cost involved, other than a domain name and the cost for the ebook which teaches you how.

Also, if you know how to sell, please see my review of "Cognigen" in the "Business Opportunities and Program Reviews" section of this forum. It has no start up cost.

I hope this helps...

No, I have not tried - but I've read different places on the internet where people have felt ripped off by these kinds of products...which is why I was so specific about how to get a refund . Often, people try and email the owner of the product directly for a refund, and the owner often does not respond to the refund request, so the buyer thinks they are out $50, but what they buyer does not realize is that they can go directly through Clickbank to get a refund.

If you are GOING to order the product, please PM me and I'll give you a link you can order through since I do promote Clickbank products - but also let me know if you think what I've said is correct. I would promote Data Entry type products on my website if I didn't hear so many negative things about them, but would consider promoting them if I heard more positive reports from consumers like you.

Legitimate data entry jobs are as rare as hen's teeth. Most of the "data entry" jobs you see at Clickbank are basically promoting selling Clickbank products using Google or pay-per-click advertising. This can be very expensive if you don't know what you're doing. At least if you purchase the product through Clickbank you are guaranteed a refund if it doesn't work out.

if you do get on with the book selling, affiliate garbage, just buy a book, get the commision, then return it. if you can read fast, maybe you can use some of the info to start your own. the main key is to get people to buy your stuff over everyone else doing the same thing.

I have looked at some of these programs, and they basically work the following way.

1.You sign up for an affiliate site like Clickbank, which gives you the ability to promote hundreds of products and receive a commission check for the sales you generate.

2.You write ads for these products, and place these ads on the Google or Yahoo network. Who pays to have these ads placed? You do.

3.If people click your ads and make purchases, you get paid your commissions.
