Hi all,

I thought this necessary to write up as I come across many newbies on a daily basis that open themselves up to being scammed. We all eventually learn through trial and error, however, I'd like to just offer some advice that may help you bypass many of the errors in your online journey.

Firstly, this forum does offer very good discussions on many of the various home business opportunities available online.

There are pros and cons to everything. Your first goal should be to determine where it is that you want to go. Basically set yourself a destination. Without it this journey of yours will be meaningless. Whether we realise it or not, we all do everything for a reason.

Once you have decided on what you want to achieve, then you can determine what opportunity best suits you. As I said above, there are pro's and con's to everything. Most participants will provide you with their true experiences. However, you must understand that not everything you read is true! By this I mean that you shouldn't fall for the hype that is created in many of the programs. Unfortunately, many of the participants will opt for HYPE in luring you in inorder to make themselves money. So you must do your research. Don't EVER signup to anything just because someone says I made $10,000 last week. Why? Just because he made 10k doesn't mean that you will make 10k aswell.

Marketing is very important. This is where 99% of the newbies fail. Again there is a thick layer of hype created around the online marketing industry. Don't go out and buy ads. Most of the time you will be losing your money. There are a tonne of FREE methods of advertising, which can provide you with a much more targeted audience for your opportunity. I don't mean FFA ads or classfieds or even SPAM emailing.

I can't stress this point enough - you must treat your business like a business! meaning you will have to be disciplined! meaning you must devote appropriate regular time to your business. Grab a book and write down everything you do. Create a plan. Do budgets. Read, then re-read your goals.

One major factor - the frame of mind is important. Manifestation happens via visualization. You must believe that success is yours. Feel the end result to make it your reality. Get into a habit of spending 10 minutes or so a day sitting in a comfortable quite place and visualizing exactly how you want your life to be. In the business sense, visualize your success, the inflow of money, and what you do with it.

Lastly, I believe that you should financially plan yourself. All the money you do make from your businesses, a % of that should be placed into other investments which will then start to earn you a return. Make your money work for you, so you can stop working for money.

Remember, your thoughts manifest your reality. You have the power to make anything happen in your life.

Take care!

I think people falsely believe that they will get better results paying for marketing. If they have deep pockets then a well structured adwords campaign may work. However, what ever money they may make back will be eaten away by the costs. Now before anyone gets me wrong, I'm talking about the high paying programs.

There are alot of free marketing mediums available that, in my opinion work better then the paid methods. Find them. These forums, and the discussion within are a great place to start.
