Hey all, I have actually got to a point where it seems I will never find a work from home job.
At the moment I am between jobs and wish to find any type of work at home job that doesnt involve me having to use a phone. I am very computer literate but would just like to find a small company or any company that you dont have to pay a big start up fee or if you do you do actually get to make some money.
I am only a student and by "making money" I mean something like $50+ a day, just something to get me by as well as hopefully progessing to some major money in the future.

Any suggestions you have would be very beneficial to me as I really am getting to a point where I dont think there is a genuine work at home job out there.

Many Thanks

Hey JHughs;

There are lots of opportunities out there for someone like you! You just have to change your attitude a bit- as an employee, you will ALWAYS get the run around. Why not start something for yourself?

I give examples of great business ideas on my website, and there are many ideas floating around this forum. Take your skills and see what you could offer someone.

Hello,
I know you said you do not want to put out any money up front to have a job, but just in case you want to re-think that I would recommend you take a look at arise.com for at home work through Arise. There is some small start up cost and training time, but if you get started working for them you can easily earn $12-14 per hour and be completely in charge of the schedule of hours you commit to in 1/2 hour increments. It is a great job for students as they are going through college as they can make more money on this than at most part time jobs. On most of the opportunities available through them there is a minimum of 15 hours of work per week. It would be a shame to pass up that opportunity where you could work whatever hours you want at any time - including as many hours as you could want during off-school weeks.
I work for Arise and make approximately $14 per hour. The start up costs vary between aobut $300-500 - if you already have a decent computer and high speed internet. I use my laptop and it works out great. If you have any questions on this I would be happy to help.

well don't worry, there are a lot of people have been in your shoes and some still are. It is natural to be frustrated in this field of work. This is not for everybody and what you are going through is why many people quit and get back to the grind. You say you know computers then you should have an advantage on finding a system of income for yourself. How long have you looked? How much research have you really put into learning about working at home jobs? There are many opportunities but I believe you aren't familiar or unaware of the kind of work you want to do. In this type of work you have to know. I suggest find out more about what you want to do. For example, I'm in graphic design, and online marketing. If everybody could do this then no one would work in an office. The path is very bumpy at first but it does clear up.

good luck

J,
It is easy to get discouraged, but don't give up hope. There are good and legit opportunities out there. I actually have learned to build websites through SBI, and I love it.

This would be good for you for long term, but it is unlikely to bring you in $50 per day starting out. It takes several months to get a good site built, pages indexed, ranked highly for your keywords, etc., before you start generating some decent income. It may be something you'll want to consider as a long range goal, but I personally am not aware of an online opportunity that will generate immediate income.

That is not to say there aren't any. There no doubt are some, especially in more of the "job" field rather than "your own business" field.

Maybe one of the others in this forum will give you an honest answer of an immediate job opportunity that pays right away.

Certainly consider building a website business in your spare hours. It will pay for years to come once you get the ball rolling.

Wishing you success.

Check out AddressAmerica.com - you may not get an "immediate income", but its probably your best bet if you are looking for something legit that pays quickly, although there are no guarantees either.
