This is a job for spammers. You will make very little or no money if you stay honest. Many people think it's a legit offer. That's right. YOU are expected to do the dirty part. This is why the web site is declared yours. If it gets spamvertised and shut down - you are the one responsible and they are clean.

Thanks for verifying my suspicions. I wondered why they want lots of people to set up their own web sites. Now I understand.

My thanks as well. I wanted to join "free", which requires you send them an email. (I think I could design my own website) Lo and behold, no email in sight. In the process of looking for one, I stumbled on your posts. I knew it was too good to be true. Thanks for saving me $35!

I accidentally returned here, looking for something else. I'm surprised this thread has been viewed over 1100 times. Also, I'm glad I apparently have been able to help at least two of you. Good luck, campgirl and speckledgator.

Another interesting article on the Dish Network Deal:
http://www.clickpress.com/releases/Detailed/2924005cp.shtml
No doubt posted by one of the affiliate site owners. There is this quote in the article I found particularly strong to steer new people away from this work-at-home deal of a lifetime:

VMC Satellite [who is running the deal with Submission Magic] is the largest Authorized Dish Network Dealer online. Located in Northern Virginia, located roughly 15 miles from Washington, DC. In addition to their large full-time staff at their Virginia Operations Center, VMC has 192,068 independent affiliate marketers all over the world!

Yikes! That was Aug 3. That means when people search for Dish Network, not only are they searching through the other providers, but also through a choice of 192,068 other sites. You gotta do a lotta grunt work to get to the top of that list. *cheers*

If there were a "real" work at home computer job, the world would come to a hault. Everyone would do it and not a single thing would be farmed, manufactured, or repaired in the world... I have always wondered how anyone ever "made" money on the Internet??
As I see after many years of webbing, ALL is free to access, so where does the money fit in?
Just like TV, advertising dollars from legit companies keep it afloat, Many try everything else, and that's just a short hit scam.

No you shouldn't have to pay money to work from home, IF you are wanting to work a work at home job. But if you are looking for a home based business, there will definitely be some investment. With a home job you are still working for someone. You still have deadlines to meet that they make. A home business is YOUR business. You make your time schedule around your own schedule. You work for yourself. If I wanted to open up a dental clinic I would have to rent or buy a location, buy furniture, buy the equipment, hire people, and advertise before I even know if I'm going to get ONE client! That is money being invested into a business. As so with a home business. You have to invest money and you need to train. If there is no investment, then there is no business.

I did submission magic too once before. Did not have good results at all! It was definitely a waste of my time and money! But I learned not to fall for it again though!

I don't think the world would come to a hault magix66. Because I don't think everyone would want a job working on the computer. Some people like to farm, repair stuff, etc.....

I don't know why people think that you do not have to work to make money online. I guess because they see so many people advertising "make $50,000 while you sleep!"
Maybe you can make $50,000 while you sleep, but you will definitely have to work, work, work in the beginning to make that happen!

Good Day All!

Wow! Am I glad I found this website! I have started becoming more sceptical lately (and I'm 48 - that's a long time to wait) and reading these posts clarified something for me.

It's this whole idea of "getting something for nothing" and it doesn't work. If there was a business that operated just like these submission magic people say there was and other businesses were successful in reproducing it, society would surely begin a slow spiral into folks wanting to do less and less for more and more.

Uhh, wait a minute... that's the way things ARE!

Anyway - a person has to think that something must be wrong with this picture if they are GIVING AWAY the dishes AND paying people to do it. That's what is wrong with the world today - too much sounds too good to be true and there's ALWAYS a catch.

Thanks for the info and the stump. Have a great day folks!

I didn't join submission magic for that reason also. I don't think you should have to pay anything to start making money. I'm selling dish network through allsat and you make $110 for each sale without having to give them any money. You also make $10 for each 2nd tier sale. I've been sending flyers to homes under contract and new home communities and I'm doing pretty well with it. Here's the link if you want to sign up with them.

PS I called them to check their customer service and I was not on hold at all and the first thing they ask is for the promotional code which is your link to making the money on the sale!

i agree, you do have to work to make real money. It takes time, and some research, but it is possible to make money with real companies.

Yes, this sounded like a scam and now it does even more. There are legitimate ways to make money from home - when I left a former employer, for whom I did computer-related work, I asked if they would like to pay me to continue some of my work from home as a contractor. I make about $1K a month to do projects for them on the side. I remember thinking "If I don't ask, it won't happen - but I feel good about it" and it worked out great. They save on a FT employee and I make $ on my own schedule. I've had another former employer agree to pay me making sales calls from home for commission. It never hurts to ask, and many times they're happy to pay someone with the experience and save on the costs of hiring someone FT.

There are real work at home opportunitys and the world is still rotating nicely. You can make money on the internet by using it as a tool to reach people nothing more. Just like you can make money using the phone, not from the phone.
