Here's the thing... in the home based business industry, what we're really selling is a dream, not a product. Don't get me wrong, products do matter too but it is mainly the idea of achieving financial freedom that really gets your prospects' attention. However, the fact that there are so many business programs out there that are just overpriced and require hundreds or even thousands of dollars to get started. They certainly worsen the objection of "not wanting to pay start-up cost" As long as your business presents that dream and the price is right, these prospects will certainly jump right in.

I know people are wary of spending money on 'work at home' solutions but it really can be money well spent. For instance, I spent $49.95 back in 2004 for an ebook all about affiliate marketing using adwords and it has literally been responsible for earning me tens of thousands of dollars since. It's just knowing what is legit and what is genuine that's the problem.

I consult with clients all the time that list money as their top objection. It's like an automatic barrier or shield they put in place in the beginning. However, once I determine (and offer them) the opportunity that is their "dream business", all of a sudden, the money obstacle goes away.

When you are introduced to the business that you are completely passionate about, you'll find a way.

Some initial cash betwen $50 and $100 would be best to get started. You'll have to buy some training of some sort and set up a web prsence. Or, you could try your luck perusing some of the free resources online. In that case, however, your path to succss will be slower because you ill have to reason everythng out for yourselves as you go along.

Rock on PMHAYES
On the other hand, you wouldnt believe how many people have joined my business, invested thousands, and didnt even make it through the first week of training...(they did save face by telling everyone they got scammed)
So I guess its just a mindset among all of those who want to "make it" but are not willing to do what it takes to do so.

I would normally reply back "That is the main reason why you will need this program"
