Hi all,

I finally broke down and bought the Bans software. It all looks relatively easy to do.I just have a couple of questions and hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

1) Can you use adsense or other affiliate companies on your Bans sites? If so what is the best way to research the highest paying commisions?

2) What is the best and preferably cheapest website/software to research a niche?

3) For written content on your bans sites, do you write your own or is there a website that has premade free to use content for different niche's?

So you knw, I haven't installed the program on to my webserver yet, I'm still at the researching niche stage.

Please advise-I appreciate it.

Hi Deanna,

I hope you signed up under getagrip. BANS is one of his specialties. I'm sure he'll come along and answer your post when he sees it, even if you didn't. He's very helpful.

I can tell you about the content aspect of it, though. If you are adding content, write your own. If you use free content that you found somewhere else, you wouldn't be the only one using it. It wouldn't be 'unique' which is the whole point of having content.

Don't let the idea of writing your own scare you. You don't have to write a LOT, just half a dozen paragraphs or so for each page. You can talk about anything related to the keywords of that page.

If your niche store is about Barbie - you can write about when you got your first doll, what you like or dislike about them, the history of the toy, funny stories of your brother chopping of the head, or you chopping of the hair, etc.

Just write as if you were talking to a friend and telling them some things about the type of items that are being sold on that page.

I hope that helps.
Blessings,
Angie

Hay Taberdude,

Just so you know, there is a BANS forum at:

buildanichestore.com/members

You can learn how to sign up for the forum in the "Read Me" file that came with the software.

When you have your store installed, you will see a place where you can add "ads" above, below, to the right, or to the left of your content - this is where you can add Adsense or other affiliate ads - just paste in the code.

As far as content is concerned, you can either write your own or hire someone else to do it for you, but you want to make sure the content is unique.

A good free keyword tool to use is the Google Adwords Keyword tool, which you can access at:

https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

Thanks Happywife for the kind words!
