I have had my share of struggles and triumphs along the way... from talking to people, to time management, and even things like feeling fearful when I did have a big check come in...

I remember the first time I got a check in the mail for over ten grand and my first thought was "OMG, I never saw this much money in one crack - is this really legal?? LOL"

But I have learned since that a lot of people have that struggle initially as most of us are not used to seeing more than a few bucks in our checking accounts when we first get started in network marketing and then once we do start making money - we have to learn how to manage it wisely!

Right now, I am trying to get the article marketing thing down pat - lol - every time I think I have mastered a new art, I discover that there is still more to learn!

I love it!

We will definitely never be done growing and can always learn from one another. My biggest struggle in business has been getting over my own fears of failure and talking to people on the phone. I have pretty much gotten over this, but i believe that it is something that was holding me back for a long time. I had to learn to embrace my fears and turn them into something strong and powerful for me and so far it has been very helpful. Mindset issues can be some of the hardest one's to fix but I have found in my case that if you can master your mind then you can master anything.

My biggest struggle with marketing has been getting my businesses in front of a targeted audience without breaking the bank. Most of the "free" or "cheap" advertising doesn't really get you targeted traffic. They may claim to bring you targeted traffic but putting your business in front of a bunch of other people looking to promote their own business isn't truly targeted. The real issue is finding those that want to start a home business not just promote one. One of the businesses I'm with now has showed me how to properly use adwords and I have seen my targeted traffic skyrocket.

Finding enough time to try out different ideas is a problem

I would have to agree that time is a problem for me. Right now it seems that I spend all my time on the sure money I get from content writing just to pay the bills. Unfortunately, it's not leaving me much time to work on my websites and future income plans.

pcwork,

That seems to be my biggest problem as well. I intend to hire staff and do some JVs next year to free up some more creativity time as a solution.

Time management for me.

I used to spend half the day just reading through all my emails, which was very unproductive and frustrating. I've had to unsubscribe from a lot of newsletters that just weren't giving me enough value for my time.

At first I was so worried that I wouldn't stay up to date on the latest happenings in the world of IM, but actually, shedding a few newsletters here and there has felt like a real weight has been lifted, lol.
