 Hi all,
Just curious-does anybody use free ads on classified ad sites to promote a business online? If you do, is it helpful?

If not- can you suggest ways to promote a site?

 Any help would be appreciated.

 Hello Deanna,

I use US Free Ads..with the $9.99 per month upgrade..you get unlimited classifieds, a mini site builder...
These are nice because you do not have to write a long article, and they have few restrictions.
And, the last I know Google loves them!
 And owns them I believe.
You may add an opt-in and affiliate links are accepted with the exception of the pet category.
 Have agreat day!
 Victoria

Yep - USfreeads works pretty good if you do it right, but your ad usually won't stay ranked high in Google for a very long time.

Yes, posting in the classifieds can work. It does take consistency. When I post in classifieds, I usually give away one of my FREE reports about working a home business, it's a good way to get leads. These leads have turned out to be good ones some of the time. Hope that helps!

 A simple tip:

Your title is the most important part of your ad - do some keyword research ahead of time and use a long tailed keyword in your title. If you can, use that keyword phrase several times in your ad - in your H1 tag and then within the body of the ad - and also at the end. That should make a big difference in your results.

I have never used US Free Ads. Will it work for an online MLM? I have a number of capture pages that are fairly well seo'd. Should I use just one, or several?

Any ads are effective. Free or paid. But the goal is to reach millions of people with a small amount of your time. Free ads usually take more of your time, but you can't beat free. Be original and innovative with marketing and you will wipe the floor with your competition.

Yes, they work for me. I don't get a rush of traffic but I do get some. I use UK Classifieds (my fave), LoCal Ads UK and Adeex.
