There are so many moms looking for a way to work at home, and it can be so overwhelming to research thru companies to find which is the best home bases business out there!
Plus, everyone says THEY have the best one anyways ...
I remember when I was looking at things, ALL I wanted to know was...
DOES IT WORK AND CAN I DO IT??
So here are a few tips - feel free to ask if you have more questions then...
With most work at home stuff, it is simply marketing a product, service or opportunity for companies... So if you are good at learning stuff on the computer, or are already on things like myspace, etc...it won't be hard for you at all.... you found this forum, right??
It is really simple.. many of us work at home moms are involved in a home business of some sort and we have websites, etc to use, to present the opportunity to others that are looking to make money from home...
Most of us make money two ways - when someone buys products and when someone signs up to have their own websites - so.... it's a win-win situation for everybody!
Company makes money - we make money - AND we get to help someone else get started so THEY can now make money from home...
The reason there is a start up fee is usually for the websites and there are usually different levels to get started at, where you can position yourself to make lower or higher commissions.
Fun? You bet... and all we have to do is find places online to get the websites out there so people can see them.
Simple? Uhuh.
Can anyone do it? Duh...if you are on this website, you can do it.
I don't have any money to get started...Then you need to FIND a way to come up with at least the low start up fee which is as low as $10 or $29 sometimes...we are talking about a way to CHANGE THAT so you never again have to say, "I can't afford that."

Yes I do agree that you need a win win situation for everyone! Otherwise making money online is very hard espacially when you are just starting out!

Depending on what you are doing some places do not require you to pay upfront. I don't think all the places out there that ask for money are bad, but many are so research before you give out your money.

Depends on whether you are looking at work at home jobs or business - if a business opportunity is telling you that you can get started for nothing and make a lot of money - it is usually a scam.
Online or offline - getting started in business for yourself takes 'moolah'..

Thanks NS but I am afraid I can't take the credit for that one.  That's just the site that our team uses... but I think it's cool, too. They did a good job with it.
And talking about rocking - right back atcha - I have learned so much from your Squidoo tricks. You wouldn't think so by looking at my lenses but that is because I just haven't taken the time to implement it all!
Am waiting for winter...

Affiliate marketing is great for stay-at-home moms in my opinion. I love it because I can have my own business without having to purchase any products to sell on my website, and it's pretty easy to get started. The best part is I can be at home with my baby girl, who just learned to walk.

Cool beans - way to go,girl!!
That is actually what I do as well - I have websites where people can purchase products straight from the company and then I make a commission - don't have to buy products, store products or handle products.. I absolutely agree - it's the way to go...

You know, moms go through soooo much and yet are under appreciated too much. I'm glad to see that lots of moms are taking control of their financial lives more and more. I only hope that every mom out there could be as successful as the ones that are making tons of money. It's rough out there and being able to start with a program that is not an arm and a leg is great. Especially if your just starting to get your feet wet. I take my hat off to all you stay at home moms, what you do is very appreciated and will never be overlooked in my book. I hope that I can one day give my wife EVERYTHING she wants because she deserves the WORLD! Take care and God Bless

Jason - I think your wife is very lucky because I know that you are well on your way to giving her everything she wants. You have a real knack for turning everything you touch into gold. I know that you've found success in your online businesses, all the while working a day job, and I admire you for that.
