Hi Everyone!

A few days ago, my children wasted their supper (again), and out of that an idea was born.

I would ask Wealthy Affiliate Members to donate their WA Gold to "Fill The Cup" charity. The response has been eye watering.

(WA Gold is Wealthy Affiliate currency, and members can give Gold to each other for any reason. Typically for being helpful.

I realize this forum has many wonderful and talented members who are not WA members, and that's okay.

In the spirit of Christmas, please take a moment to help others who are less fortunate.

"The Red Cup is a symbol that simultaneously defines the challenges facing the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) and the struggle for survival that is a daily concern for those living on the edge.

Just 25 cents will fill a cup with porridge, rice or beans and give girls a monthly ration to take home.

About $1.50 the price of a cup of coffee is enough to feed a child through school for one week.

Even a dollar helps a child eat for 4 days!
They accept Paypal too!

I sometimes think "I hope to make $100.00 or more today."

There are children all over the world who wish "I hope my cup of porridge or beans is filled at school today"

(When I saw images of parents going through the landfill hoping to feed their children, my heart began to feel very heavy).

If you cannot make a financial donation, there are many food and clothing drives this time of the year...Or feed a stray cat in your alley..the possibilities are endless!

Have a very Merry Christmas!

Victoria

Hey NTC,

I wanted to get rid of my WAGold, so I gave it to you! I guess I'm not a huge fan of WA Gold, but I'm glad you are putting it to good use...
