It is for months.
Work tracker is not an effective tool. They give slightly old data. You could use google keyword tool available at https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

You can use this tool:

http://tools.seobook.com/keyword-tools/seobook/

It provides statistics of major search engines for each keyword.

Hi Gary,

If I remember correctly, the free version of WordTracker from your link is a daily number.

However, it computes things differently and it uses more than one engine.

Google is monthly (average of last 12 months) - now with both local and global output.

They draw from different sources so it isn't really an even comparison.

Both tools are excellent and as Cheri pointed out, the SEOBOOk tool is quite good as well.

It's best to use more than one tool.

Hi Newbie

Appreciate your additional information and comments.

No wonder the number of searches from keywordtrackers are so low compared to that of google's.
