Being a renegade can bring many things to your life. We can be renegades in anything, but most of what we renegade in, it does not bring us profit. Being a renegade in network marketing is very rewarding.

You have to come to your senses that it is YOUR business, and YOU decide on how to be successful in this industry. Today, 4/22/08, I went to a mlm training event with my brother. He is in another mlm company. Many of the top leaders and money earners were there.

They were talking about how they reached their positions in the company, and how we can do it, etc. But what they were telling us is exactly why 97% of marketers fail in this business. The same old everyone's your prospect, peak and pass to your upline, home briefings, 3 way callings, grow business via regional events, etc.

They had many of the people who hit good positions stand up and come to the front of the room. I looked around to see how many would stand up. The number of people that stood up versus those who did not stand up proved why 97% fail.

I call it the stone age techniques. I would say that 95% of mlm is fueld by those techniques that only work for 3% of marketers. I myself, Ann Sieg, and many other marketers in this business came to our senses when we found out to renegade in this business.

No more do we call leads, work warm markets, go to briefings to grow the business, none of that stuff. Ann Sieg said it good,"BURN YOUR LISTS". Those techniques just do not work for 97% of marketers.

As for me, and my team, We use a system that anyone can follow, and can build a true residual income for life.

I believe most people fail because they really weren't taught how to market, how to reach their target market. I know I was in a handful of businesses before my current one and I didn't do well. I didn't know how to target market. The business I'm in now explains it all, shows you step by step videos and gives you the "missing nuggets" of information.

When I was in an MLM, I was told to buy leads and spend hours a day calling them, well that didn't work for me business-wise or for my family. It was very frustating. I now have people coming to me and it's a much better feeling because I put what I have to offer out there and the ones that want it, come to me. Sure beats calling leads and chasing family and friends.

Yes a agree with you most people fail in this business
because they dont know how to market there products
or there selves so people are attracted to them.I was
also told to buy leads, make a list of 100 people, bug your
family, all those things that got me no where.Well now i
found a system that shows you step by step and trains
you how to market any business the right way and its
free to join.

Everybody in MLM gets the same handbook. Make a list of 100 friends and family, everybody is you prospect, three foot rule, three way call, and home and hotel meetings. I ran the playbook the way John Elway ran a bootleg.

Guess what?!?! I had limited success. I did all the things they teach you. I still wasn't where I needed to be. So, being in sales for several years I began to build a list and cold call.

Bad idea. I got shot down faster than a pickup artist in a bar full of nuns. It was bad...

It wasn't until I got an education in marketing until I became successful. You hear terms like law of attraction, web 2.0 , and rejection free marketing. Most marketers fail for two reasons:

1. They quit. This is the #1 reason 97% fail. The give up on themselves or listen to that person who doesn't want them to succeed. Never allow it as an option. As J. Paul Meyer says, " I have a limitless belief in myself, I have a limitless belief in my creator, I have a limitless belief in other people, and I have a limitless belief in what we can do together. Attitude is everything."

2. Their uneducated. Education in what career you are pursuing is pivotal to success/failure. A doctor wouldn't be successful unless he attends med school. It never ceases to amaze me how people will spend $100,000+ to get a four year degree to make $35,000 a year, but cringe at spending $2,000 so they can get the necessary training to make $200,000. It doesn't make any sense.

Sorry the post got away from me. I hope it helps somebody, somewhere.

I think a lot of people fail because they get frustrated really early on. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the target conversion rate is only about 10%. So 90% of the people that you're going to market to aren't going to translate to sales. I think that frustrates a lot of people since they're not going to even get to a 10% conversion rate for a while.

If someone starts out and they're spending a few hundred, maybe even a few thousands dollars on advertising in their first few weeks and aren't generating any sales then they're going to get frustrated really quickly and just give up altogether.

Nobody is going to know what it takes to be successful in MLM overnight. That's why I think confidence and commitment are important. There are going to be a lot of lows early on but if you are committed to what you are doing then you can overcome that. Also if you have confidence in your techniques then eventually it will translate into sales. You may have to tweak those techniques but as long as you are confident in what you are doing then eventually you will have success.

Being a salesperson can be difficult. You really have to be good at convincing your potential customers that what you are selling is worth buying. Product knowledge is important and the ability to deliever your message in a convincing way will translate into sales. But if you don't know what you are talking about or are unsure in your delievery then people won't be interested. You have to be confident in your delievery and you have to know everything there is to know about the product.

It's really no different than trying to sell someone a car. Just like a car salesman you're trying to get these people to make a financial commitment. The only difference is that commitment isn't $10,000 or more. But regardless of the amount, your potential customers have to be convinced that their commitment is worth it. That there is value in what they are paying for and most importantly this is a product that they have to have.

Hey guys,

I agree with all of you. The rewards are from our efforts put in. Most of all, its the education. Becoming a product of the product and being your own testimony is everything. Facts tell, stories sell..
I have found one that's working and its getting better everyday..never felt better in my life..

Making money from home has many different variables.
First you need to be commited, consistent, and have capital.
You need to market a big ticket item, with a big profit margin, that has value to the end user.

You then need to master your marketing or lead generation skills, then your prospecting skills, then your closing skills, then finally your leadership skills.

Most people are not able to do all these things, hence the failure rate. Many are not willing to go through the learning curve they are just excited by the promise of fast riches and hype. Success to all
