Yeah, you should be able to cut and paste the code it gives you into your html. After you publish your website, visit your page, and hopefully there will be an opt in form you can test out. If this doesn't help, I would suggest contacting the free autoresponder company directly.

Be careful with the free autoresponders - I have never used a free autoresponder, but it is my understanding that they send out ads with your messages - or something to that effect - so you have other ads competing with your own promotions.

Free auto responders are okay to use. I mean for the most part they get the basic job done. But if you're thinking about doing web marketing as a profession you should really consider investing in a great auto responder.

And they're not that expensive considering what a potential prospect means to you.

I'm just always uneasy when it comes to certain free things because, well, it was free. For me it's comforting to know that when I invest in something for my business, like a good auto responder, I can be assured that my email campaign will reach it's intended destination.

And if I'm having problems for some reason, I just make a phone call and they're on it! I'm not sure if you can get that type of instant support you need from the free one's. But I could be wrong.

I've been using "Awake Auto-responder" by Daniel Berg. Its really user friendly and so far I haven't had any problems with it.

There is a free version, but if you're going to be doing some heavy campaigns you should check out the professional version.

The site is at: http://daniberg.com

Have fun!

I think AWeber is the best, they are the biggest player in the industry and have the highest deliverability rate (and provide excellent customer support). The hard thing is finding a good autoresponder that lets you import your leads into them without opting them back in. If you're looking for a reliable, affordable autoresponder to import leads into, I recommend royal-responder (.com).

Yes, Aweber is a really great auto responder service and is highly used and recommended. With great service comes great investment so you need to decide what you're willing to invest.

I haven't used them but I hear that www.getresponse.com is a great service to use for this also. Not quite sure on their pricing though.

I'm using a software type auto responder like "awake" and not a service type right now just because it works great for my specific needs and required minimal investment on my part.

I have Aweber, 19.95/month to be able to email up to 10,000 people with unlimited messages.

They have great tutorials too.

Also Aweber goes straight to the recipients inbox, not their spam box or their bulk mailbox.
This is HUGE as it allows more of your mailings to get opened.
Not to mention their support is great, it easy to use/set-up and they give you a lot of tools, charts and graphs for tracking.
Noooo I do not work for A-Web...haha
