It takes time....doesn't matter if you are doing PPC, or article marketing, it just takes time. Try approaching well-known sites and blogs and asking them if they will link you to their site for some immediate traffic, or join one of those free traffic generator sites.

Or, you can do what I did and join a community forum site that offers course, tutorials, video, question forums, and keyword tools you can't find anywhere...it's at my website...it's called WA. They have helped me maximize my earnings!

You can post in forums with your url in the signature or you can do article marketing. Both are free ways to get targeted traffic.

kamafendi,
I looked at your site in your signature, but it appears to be just a one page ad for other work at home ads. That is going to be tough to get traffic without paying for it. Unfortunately, the traffic that you pay for in those traffic generator sites, etc., isn't really worthwhile in my opinion. It is generally just a bunch of other people who are trying to get traffic to their site, so they click on yours for points, etc.

Anyway, your best bet, I think, is to build a genuine content based website about something you love and then it will be a lot easier to get targeted traffic without paying a penny. I don't pay at all for traffic to my site and yet I get well over 10,000 visitors a month, and I haven't even been at it a year. People come to my site because they are looking for something related to chocolate candy (the niche of my site) and the search engines rank me automatically for the keywords of each page.

Yes, there are things I did to help this along, like posting helpful and thoughtful answers in forums related to chocolate candy, getting inbound links from other candy related websites, submitting to some of the free directories, etc. They cost me a bit of time, but no additional money. This is the way you can build a long term business.

My signature file is not my main chocolate candy site (I won't include it now because it is against the rules) , but it will give you an idea of what I am talking about.

If you are determined to continue with the type of site you have, (I think you will only be frustrated in the end, but...) you will have to add a lot more to your site than what you have if you want the search engines to rank you anywhere at all. Perhaps you might add pages about the benefits of working at home, the statistics of people who work at home, the different types of work at home opportunities, etc...

That is just a couple of ideas off the top of my head, but really, you need LOTS of pages of content in order to automatically generate traffic and truly grow your business.

Hope this helps.
