I am thinking of promoting my websites using social networking, but want to outsource it. Is there any place which offers this service?

I'd be curious about this as regards outsourcing as well.

social networking is exactly what it is - socializing online so why have someone else do it for you?

That would be kinda like hiring someone to go to all your dinner parties, cookouts, and social events..

Nobody can really do your socializing for you - whether it's online or offline....else it is simply advertising.

but that is only my two cents worth - maybe someone else has a different outlook for you

In my humble opinion, social networking and business advertising do not mix. Me personally, I wouldn't do it. But hey, to each his/her own.

Much success in whatever you decide.

I'm with Mountain - letting someone else pose in your stead for the sake of allowing society to assume that it is actually your own personality is a bit too deceptive for my blood.

Hi NWA,

You can use Squidoo, Hub Pages, StumbleUpon, Digg, Delicious, MySpace, FaceBook, Reddit, as well as free blogs such as Blogger and WordPress. There are others as well but those should keep you busy for a while.

Hey NS - do you know if a person can put adsense on hubpages? I have been trying to find places where you can write articles and then ad adsense to it...

I haven't used Hub Pages yet...

So far I have mostly been writing articles to draw traffic to my sites but then I would also like to have adsense on it.

I figured maybe if I ask BEFORE I get all frustrated looking for it, I may get there quicker.

Today I received a newsletter from a website that I'm subscribed to. They talk about ethics in the social media, and how many of the top users, are paid to promote articles or blogs on digg and other sites.

I'll copy part of the text here for your records:

"Invesp scored an interview with this person (who wishes to remain anonymous; for the purpose of this article, let's call them "Digg Throat"), and provides quite an interesting look into the behind-the-scenes world of Digg marketing and social media marketing in general.

"I have worked for many popular blogs and I know most top users do," explains Digg Throat. "As of now I am involved with three blogs/companies that I regularly help with social media promotion, especially on Digg. To put it in short : my status and reach within the community allows me to help businesses leverage their opportunities by reaching a different crowd and a large crowd for that matter."

Digg Throat has been charging up to $700 per article for his/her promotion, and if a particular item reaches Digg's home page, he/she gets another $500. Now that's some easy money. Too bad it's frowned upon by Digg, and Digg users alike. However, paid promotion is just a fact of Digg. It's not a surprise, and users who have a real problem with it, will likely just find another site to read. Besides, is this really that much different than paying PR staff to push your message? "

Hi There

I've found great success with ZenZUU. I think the key would be to combine your Social Networking Strategy with a proven business model.

Remember that no program is going to make you rich overnight and commitment and dedication should be the order of the day.

You can't put your own adsense. It's just like Squidoo where you are paid a share of revenue from adsense. I doubt if there are any places where you can put your own adsense code except for your own site

Vishal is correct.

They place it for you and then give you 60% of the impressions.

The best way to monetize on Adsense is to place it on your self-hosted pages.

Furthermore, you have 100% control over your content plus ways to tweak your ads and the effectiveness of the same.

Study Adsense thoroughly before you slap it on your pages. Know about placement, blending, use of negation, and so on.

Once you know what you are doing, you'll know which niches to use it as well as in which niches not to use it.

Vishal and Happywife have their Adsense set up perfectly if you'd like to see how it's done.

Good luck,
