I don't know that you would want to take the time to learn HTML before you get going with your online business. So something quick, but professional would be good. I wouldn't worry about free because some of the free sites cost more by the time you have to pay for the add ons they offer that you really need. You do need your own domain name and not the free site's ads on your page.
Hosting is really cheap anyway and I use a hosting company that supplies a really, really easy to use site builder software and they have tons of premade templates to choose from. I picked it at first for their templates as they were the best I found. They have free 30 day trial too.
But this what got me started with my online business, before that I was dawdling--so don't dawdle.

Those are some great recommendations. There is also homestead.com which offers a free 30-day trial so you can get your feet wet. It also includes a very simple to use site builder with over 2000 templates. My wife has been using this one and has set up some great looking sites for her business. She's very happpy with it and their service.

HI,

I'm new at Internet Marketing and have seen that many people say to be successful in this you need a web site. I would like to make one, but don't know how and don't have money to pay someone else to make it for me. I would like to know if any of you can give me some advised on this I would really appreciated.

Thanks,

When I started I had no idea about how to do it. But there are free tools out there check out my signature.

I agree about Weebly. No matter which free site you use, you have to take into account search engine optimization, keyword research, you have to check out your competition of keywords. If you get more than 3 million search results, then you're not going to be seen very well on the search engines.

So use Google Keyword Tool to look for keywords related to your niche that you can use.
