Outlook vs. Web Mail For Hosting eMail:
Be sure to comment below.
Historically I've always used Outlook as my email proggie for hosting accounts. Have you ever tried web mail (browser email) instead? I've been considering it since it's quite simple - like Yahoo or Gmail.
Which do you prefer and why?

I use ThunderBird and use IMAP instead of POP. IMAP is lot faster as it downloads only headers initially. This way I can delete all spam (by just looking at their subject) without actually downloading them.
Also, I feel web mails are pretty slower compared to desktop email clients.

I don't have any preference.
As long as i can read my mail. It is ok for me.
For outlook, it is based on individual desktop. But for webmail, it is more portable. You can check your email whatever you want as long as you have a computer and internet access.
