I have been usinbg Xsite Pro for about a month now and its fabulous. I used to hand-code HTML, which is a good skill to have... but XSite Pro makes so many things so simple and fast...its perfect for me.

Its not designed for creating works of art... but for content sites its perfect. Check out my site and let me know what you think.

Although XSitePro is a good software, it has some limitations:

* Its bulky and and slows down your pc. My laptop has Intel 1.6Mhz and 512 mb ram.
* You have limited control over layout and structuring of your site resulting in almost cookie-cutter like sites.

My rating: 6/10

With little knowledge of HTML, you can create far better sites through Wordpress (yes sites, not blogs).

I too had good references for XSitePro software. But it seems that when i had a glance at your site the color schema is not perfect.

I could say that I am color blind... but the colors are my choice... not the software... its perfectly capable of making white sites with attractive soft blue highlights....

that look like 1,000,000,000,000,000 other sites on the net!

I am experienced in direct response mailing. Jarring color schemes actually command attention in the mail, as much as 30% higher response rate.

AND I am quite capable of making a site with "fits in" with the type of color schemes that others are using...

But I choose not to... and I actually make a tidy income doing it "my way".

Regardless, XSITE Pro works well for me and frees up a lot of my time.

Hello!

I ve used xsite pro too, its quite good, but doesnt allow to set up a great variation of designs.
All websites made with xsite pro looks very similar.

My favorite is the open source project Joomla

best wishes,

max

I agree with Vishal about Xsite Pro.

I was so frustrated using XSite Pro that I stopped using it. Seemed like I spent more time getting the whole layout to line up correctly and getting the right fonts to show than anything else.

There is a 2.0 coming out in September 2007 that will be
more geared for web 2.0 and incorporate many new features.

For massive content Sites XSP will never be the best choice.

For those you would want to go with a CMS system like
Wordpress, Drupal, or Joomla.

I find that XSP consistently meets my needs a marketer.
Its straightforward and quick to learn and does a lot of
things quickly and automatically.
