Well, if all that you can bring in with one site is a little Adsense revenue, then I would suggest either improving the site or duplicating what you have done. The later assumes that your single site is profitable.

Try to create quality content. I get sick of the trash I see on the net nowadays...I remember a few years back when folks created quality sites and there wasn't an oversaturation of junk sites. Those were better days.

viraj86,

Which site are you referring to? The one in your signature? I had a quick look but didn't spot any adsense there.

It would be easier to answer your question if we could take a look at your site.

There are a lot of variables when it comes to Adsense. How many visitors do you get? What are the values of your keyword clicks? etc.

It may be better to work on getting more visitors to your current site than to create multiple sites. If you have a site that the clicks are worth a good bit, that would be the way to go. Create more pages of good content. This will give you more ads and more chances of visitors.

If the clicks aren't worth much, it may be better to create a site with a more profitable niche for adsense.

Either way, you can have as many sites as you want, but if you don't have any traffic you won't make money with adsense.

Does that make sense? If you'd like me and others to check out your site and advise you let us know what it is.

All the best.

Personally I feel many sites are a much better option, your risk is reduced. You need to have good project management skills

My friend and I run a fan site for Fire Emblem and I placed some Adsense on there on November 13th (when Google approved my account). It's been bringing in some good money lately, over $45 just by itself since the 13th.

I'm up to almost $62 total though because I also placed the ads on a bunch of websites (that are all similar) that I helped setup for some friends/clients who didn't mind me putting them there.

So I did both methods: I put the ads on a site with high traffic and a bunch of small, similar sites, and I'm hoping to reach $100 before the end of this month which very well might happen considering how far it's gotten so far.

I'd say that you should really try to increase how much money your one site is making and then duplicate it to increase it even more.

Technically, whichever option gives you the most traffic, the better. Ideally you would want lots of sites getting lots of traffic and you could potentially generate a very good income. Having said that, it might be best to focus on one site with lots of pages...
