I almost started with internet speedway. The problem is, when you try to sell the same products Wal-Mart sells, you will loose!! Plus, all the websites are replica websites. Very hard to market that with search engines in my opinion. But if you go through with it, let me know how it goes and best of luck to you.

IT'S A SCAM. THE GET YOUR CHECKING OR CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT NUMBER TO CHARGE THE $9.99 SHIPPING FEE TO, THEN YOU'RE STUCK WITH 5 MONTHLY DRAFTS OF $69.99. AFTER THAT 5 MONTHS THEY DRAFT $59.85 FOR THE SERVER SERVICE. WE HAVE CANCELED THE SERVICE 3 TIMES AND THEY CONTINUE TO DRAFT THE $59.85. THE MANAGER GEORGE WHITE IS A BIG CHICKEN AND WON'T EVEN ANSWER THE PHONE. WE HAVE TALKED TO OSCAR, ABE AND GEORGE THAT ANSWER THE PHONE WHEN YOU CALL 1-877-773-3305. IF YOU HAVE SOME FREE TIME, CALL THE NUMBER AND TELL THEM TO SHOVE THEIR "FREE CD BECAUSE AMY KOONTZ SAVED YOU FROM BUYING INTO THEIR SCAM. I AM SEEKING LEGAL ACTION TO GET MY MONEY BACK AND I WOULD SUGGEST ANYONE ELSE WHO HAS HAD THE SAME PROBLEM DO SO AS WELL. FOR THOSE OF YOU ON HERE SINGING THEIR PRAISES...................SAVE IT! IT'S THE BIGGEST SCAM AND I HOPE THE WHOLE OPERATION GETS SHUT DOWN

I am also a dumby that fell for this crap from internet speedway. I have given dollar after hard earned dollar in this investment and still no sale at all after 9 moths of bull. I have paid a professional optimization company to do seo for me and it has failed. I can't win at all. This crap is not worth the money i spent(over $2000) in all for all involed and it is just like the other site listed above. Crap products and prices that are smashed by anyone else.

[Link removed - Admin] look at this site. I am an IT professional and i can not even manipulate this site because it is not html only asp and sql. script after script makes seo impossible. DO NOT WASTE A RED CENT. I WOULD SERIOUSLY LOOK AT OTHER SOLUTIONS.

A small suggestion:

If you hear their ad on the radio, email the station and let them know that the CD isn't free since it costs $10 to have it shipped. Hopefully, the station will stop running the ad.

Aussie, I was just getting ready to purchase the Gold Package, when I came across this site. It seems as though you are the only one who has been successful using Internet Speedway, so I'm a bit nervous now! Can you tell me what your website is so I can maybe take a look? Do you sell your own merchandise or items from Wharehouse Direct? Any help would be greatly appreciated, for I am a stay at home mom who really needs the extra income, and doesn't have the extra money to waste. Thank you, Sarah

ok, i just PURCHASED the FREE cd from internet speedway today. going buy what most people are saying (and my own belief as well) it is a waste of time, but i am going to wait for it to arrive, try it for about two weeks and if it sucks, then i'll send it back. to me, if they cancel me with no problems, then it's no a scam, only a waste of my time. i'll update yopu all as of the results i come up with.

If you are within your 30 days you can cancel at www.discontinue.ispeedway.com

Your RMA # is your activation code.

I also called and when I finally got through, did not have any problems with cancelling. Just return in the same box to the Denver, CO address. Was informed that most complaints were a result of cancelling after the 30 days.

I too have been scammed. I did not activate and went to the cust. service website they say to go to called www.discontiue.ispeedway.com.... it's a fraud. You chat live with a rep that tries to get you to stay by adding more features... but they have no authority to cancel your membership or return money... in the end, they do a hard sell and then give you a number to call only to have the reps there say they will do nothing to help you out. They are scum! Any legit business will will return merchadise, credit accounts if there is an unhappy cusomter and you have not used the product. Not with these guys. Stay away....

since my company manufactures (replicates) CD's, I thought of calling them - but then figured it'd probably be a 50/50 shot if we'd ever get paid. By the way, CD's ordered in quantity (5/10 thousand) are less then 30 cents a pc.

I've read quite a lot of complaints but really few counterparts. My first realistic thought should be evidently "Yes, it's a scam". But, no. Why should I believe those who say it's an accute "SCAM"? I am rather interested in knowing WHY you all, those who do, are advising me, who is flirting with the IS idea, against trying it? To spare from wasting some money? Well, it sounds more like all the interest is mine. What do you get out of helping me? Oh, you help without a vested interest? Oh yeah... That's really new to me in the US.

As far as i am concerned, I am going for it when i finally save the money. The system's strategy makes complete sense to me. So, anyone who still think the whole thing is preposterous, bring it on! My pleasure. I am inclined to being convinced with incontestable logic. I can't rely on lazy people who perceive the system, IS, as a piggy bank that's about to crack open.

OMG!! I was on the phone with a representative of Speedway and I asked him if I give him my debit card number to cover the 9.99 shipping, will I be billed 69.99 per month automatically. He talked around it and I told him I might forget to cancel at the end of the 30 days so I better not jump into this right now. I wanted to do some more research. Guess what, he then used the SAME Blockbuster analogy that Brian posted! Hhhmm, does Brian work for Internet Speedway? Anyway I never gave him my debit card number and I told him to just send the CD, he then said not a problem, but it will take a while, 6-8 weeks. He said instead he will email me, "but it's all the same information that I already covered with you." I told him that's alright I'll read it again and if I'm interested I will call him back. I then checked with the better business bureau. They have an unsatisfactory status. Now, I have seen a worse report, but I'm still choosing to pass on this venture. I wish everyone much success and if I run across a legitimate low cost venture, I will let you all know also.

I signed up at the end of October and got a "superstore" and at first was very happy. I went through all of their instructions posted to all of the sites as they instructed. I should have done more research on the prices. The wholesale goods that were available were good and bad quality wise, but the prices were no good. Even at setting my prices at only 5% above wholesale they would have been too high to compete. Now the issue I am going to be dealing with is the fact that the promissed that in the first 90 days of the superstore that they would drive 100,000 visitors to the site - included in the set-up price. To this date they have only delivered less than a third. So needless to say they had better be giving me some kind of a refund based only on that failure to meet the required traffic.

Hey folks, if you jump into any business prospect because it's "free" you're in it for the wrong reason. In my experience, the incentive of "free" is not a good motivating factor to run a business and whether this is a legit company or not is not the point. It's not surprising people that get into this ask for a refund after they discover that "free" doesn't mean effortless.

If you want a system similar to this, try www.citymax.com. You'll have access to the dropshippers (you'll pay of course), to ebay and everything else. You won't make money without some effort though. I own a licensed version of citymax (www.businesswebgeneration.com). It's more expensive however it comes with something the other guys can't offer - ME. I'm not selling here. In fact, most of the people on this post I probably wouldn't sell to because their heart and their motivation is in the wrong place. Don't be careful...be smart. Come up with your business first...then go find someone who can help you implement your dream. Don't buy someone elses dream.

These people are absoulte scum....totally unethical and crooked. I just reported my credit card lost and the cc number was cancelled so these rip offs can't hit my credit card any more. I WILL contact the Better Business Bureau and file a complaint and if anyone in here happens to locate any possible legal remedies I'd sure love to hear from you....
So...whatever you do.....DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFO AT ALL...they'll just keep taking your money.

Internet Speedway is the worst scam and fraud going. I'm ashamed to admit that I fell for their hype and false promises and ordered a "trial" membership on November 26th, 2006. On December 5th, 2006 my computer crashed, so I was unable to even review the material they sent me. I called them to explain that I would not be using the program and they told me to return the package. This I did on December 22, 2006, well within the 30 days the allow for returns.

On January 1, 2007 they charged my credit card account $69.99. I called to complain and they told me to pursue the matter through my Credit Card Company. I called Capital One and they kindly credited my account.

Today, I received my latest bill and discovered that I had been charged $69.00 for February1st AND March 1st. I called Internet Speedway and they gave me a line if BS that they did not receive my retrned package during the time allowed, perhaps because the Christmas Holiday came in the middle. I have been forced to cancel my credit card and to obtain a new account number to prevent these scam artists from gatting any more of my $$.

Ronwie, my experience is much the same as yours... did finally get my card straightened out, and Its allo over, right?
Not hardly, for I have been overwhelmed with phone calls, and messages from a "Monterey Financial?", attempting to coerse me into paying an obligation to Internet speedway account. This has been going on for over a month, now.
Anyone else with this experience?

Yes I have had this experience. As a matter of fact this experience is happening to me right now. A lady has called me for days now and sometimes twice a day from "Monterey financial". She calls me from a private number and when she leaves messages she says: " this message is for------- -----. I'm calling in regards to your internet speedway account. Give me a call back at 877-399-6374 my direct extension is 3225."
A new day has come and she has left another message. I saved 3 messages that she left and the one i just told you about was the first one. It wasn't til a minute later when i listened to her messages again that I realized her extension number changed in her second message to 3724. She was about to say the first extension number but she said it halfway through like this "my extension number is 32... I'm sorry 3724"
But on the third message the extension number went back to 3225.
That's kinda crazy isn't it?
Internet Speedway is a ripoff/ scam, whichever you wanna call it. I remember during my 30 day trial I tried to cancel but everytime I call I can't get through but somehow the day after I called again and I got through and I tried to cancel but the man told me it's too late. Your free trial is up. Even when I tried to call tech support it took a long time to get through and when I asked for help they had an attitude and acted like they didn't wanna help me. One day I went to the atm machine and I had very little money in my checking account so I went inside the bank and this lady show me my account where internet speedway attempted to take out $154.98 for the month of feb, but now come march and when that monterey financial lady calls me, she says that I owe 234 dollars and some change. Now I ain't stupid. They were supposed to draft 69.99 per month. 2 monthly payments of $69.99 added together does not equal 234 dollars. It equals 139.98. Even if there was a third monthly payment added to that it still would not equal 234 dollars. It would equal 209.97.

Here is an example of Ispeedway's wesel like antics:

1.) You pay them $10 for a" free CD" which they mail to you

2.) You cancell the membership within 30 days as agreed

3.) You receve an email stating you are cancelled:

"Cancelled status means that your website is no longer accessible. As long as your website is in Cancelled status, you will not be charged service fees. "

4.) But then, you get another email that suggests you have to return the package (1 CD and a couple of papers) that you paid $10 for, or you will be charged the entire amount of the program!

I, too, was royally scammed by Internet Speedway. Look folks, Aussie obviously works for ISpeedway and was asked to post good things about them here. She is obviously a shill. Has she shown her site to anyone who requested to see it? I'm thinking not. Also, the person who posted here twice as Robert Cody is my marketing rep at Internet Speedway, so of course, he's going to defend them. He probably makes about a 10 percent commission on every store he sells.

I paid $5,000 for the platinum store. They must have raised the price last summer. Then almost two months after my site was opened, a rep from ISpeedway called me and ripped me off for another $450 saying that I didn't have to take this program called "Redirect", but it would be a good idea since they would guarantee 90,000 visitors to my site over a 90 day period for the $450. Like a complete idiot, I fell for it. I have never felt so stupid in my life. I'm a paralegal who has worked in the legal field for almost 17 years. I've always considered myself to be a fairly intelligent person until now. Now I feel dumber than dirt for letting these creeps take me for $5450. My site has been open since August of 2006. I've made approximately $400 in sales over an eight month period. Not one stranger has bought from me. That $400 came from sales that friends and family gave me. If not for them, I would not have one sale to this day.

I honestly wasn't expecting to get rich immediately by opening this web store, but I thought that by now, I'd be getting more sales. I spent over 70 hours working on this store - lowering the prices on most of my items, adding subcategories, changing inventory around, etc. - and for what? Nothing. My brother, my cousin and two friends gave me the sales that I made. Also, the "Redirect" program I paid the additional $450 for is a total lie and ripoff. As of last month, I didn't even have 20,000 hits to my site, let alone the 90,000 that were promised to me for this additional money.

I e-mailed my marketing rep, Bob Cody, to ask if I could get a refund on the "redirect" money I paid since it didn't deliver what it promised. He replied by telling me that it's not ISpeedway's fault that I'm not getting any sales and "he was amazed that I hadn't gotten more sales". What a load of crap! He said they could not refund any of my money. I told him I had done everything he suggested in the beginning to succeed - I paid to have business cards printed up, I ran off flyers to place in various kiosks and ATM booths, I e-mailed everyone I knew about my site, etc, and his response was "Well, it sounds like you did all the right things, but maybe your should ask your friends and family why they are not buying from you." Hey, idiot, why aren't strangers buying from me? Not only that, I'm paying PayPal $20 a month for them to accept payments from my site. I'm stopping that as of tonight.

AND I'm closing down my store, AND I'm cancelling the credit card I used so they have no way of getting another dime from me, and if I do have to file a legal claim, I will do so with a vengeance because this outfit is absolutely the worst of the worst.

Bob Cody is good at what he does which is ripping people off by making them believe that, as he put it to me, they will be one of Internet Speedway's "superstars". Yeah, I'm a real superstar who lost a boatload of cash to this scam outfit. I know a lot of attorneys from being in the legal field for so many years and a couple of them said that if I wanted to file a claim, they'd take on my case for free, but they also warned me that it could mean having to go to Arizona where the company is based to pursue the claim and that would cost me a hell of a lot more money. I don't know if it's worth it. I guess I'll have to bite the bullet on this one and take the loss which I claimed on my income tax this year. Yet, I'll be getting a small compensation for the money I've lost.

JUST BEWARE AND DO NOT SIGN UP WITH INTERNET SPEEDWAY. THE BIGGEST BUNCH OF THIEVES OUT THERE. I WILL BE FILING A REPORT WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND MY STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL THIS WEEK. I'VE HAD IT WITH THESE CROOKS.

Internet Speedway is a HUGE scam! I'm their most recent prey, and one of the unfortunate ones. They've taken over $500.00 from me - and I don't have one thing AT ALL to show for it. I just threw my money away I guess! I looked into their service to help me get OUT of debt..... what happened instead?....... you guessed it - I'm farther IN debt thanks to them! THEY WILL NOT REFUND MY MONEY!!! PLEASE EVERYONE AND ANYONE THAT'S DEALT WITH THEM - KEEP SPREADING THE NEWS THAT INTERNET SPEEDWAY IS A FRAUD, RIPOFF, SCAM, ALL THAT AND MORE!
