This is a great conversation. The auto responder does have a preset campaign for Fun Time that promotes the vacations as well as there being an biz opt. You can also very easily set up a campaign for Coastal as we have done and push people to our CSG movie site. Im not sure how everyones system other than the CSG MAC works but in our back office we have campaigns for Coastal so I just copied and pasted those letter in my Fun Time autoresponder for Coastal. For all of you that work in CV with the BOD I know they have a regional in Vegas next month so I imagine announcements will be made then. For any of you that need more details be sure to contact me. As im new to this forum im not sure exactly how anyone can contact me so ill try this on hotmail + yahoo messenger my username is ateamcoastaltravel. You can IM me most anytime. So lets talk soon.
All of this sounds very sceptical. I am seeing a lot of Funtimers posting about how Funtime and Coastal are merging, but haven't heard anything from Coastal. I agree with Harold has to why is Funtime doing all the talking and were not hearing anything from Coastal. 300 per month is pretty steep for someone who can't afford Coastal. Why not save 300 for 4 months and buy a Coastal package? For serious people that would like to pursue Coastal but finances are holding them back, check out the Entry Level program the We Close Your Sales group as to offer. The cost is less then 300 per month and there is tons of training and support available in the back office. I have a vacation voucher I want to activate, however, I have to call Funtime. I am a little nervous to call from how I have heard Funtime presents themselves. Jat
Stay tuned as an announcement will probably be made at the CV regional in Vegas. Im not sure how you market your business but for my teammates its a good fit. They usually spend more than $300 a month for leads anyway once they get their Coastal package. Also for someone who cant afford $1295 to get started $300 is a better fit and they can make money until they can afford to spend $1295 to get started with Coastal. Now I love my coastal commissions and would never give it up. This is just an added addition to our "Travel" business.
Quoting: luvtravelJeff brought up the "sellers permit" when I asked that ques, i was insulted by being told to "read jeff's post" Terri if it was me who offended you that was not intentional and i apologize . I just meant that he had explained what he meant clearly in his post. If you were offended sorry..lol i have no dog in this hunt other than checking a few of you out for future upline purposes. So no trying to be divisive here for me i just am looking for the strongest director.
But seriously, I googled funtime, I noticed a LOT of Coastal directors are selling Funtime along with Coastal on their websites. Question is this, will Coastal directors get a "deal" with Funtime to join thru the BOD, OR have they already been getting some SPECIAL deal to join? Thank you, Terri
Its my understanding that Funtime at its "premium" level is 300 bucks a month for everyone. That is how the residual income works out basically you get 3 then yours is free. Someone tell me if im wrong but as far as ive read that is how it works.
PT, Funtime $300/month it's work out $3600/year instead of paying $1295 one time fee. Eitherway BOD should just leave Funtime completly. I think they (funtime) grassping for air, just my 2 cents. Beside that why would Coastal want they Directors to push Funtime?? That's just crazy and I think would be a bad move on they part. cw
I actually think the Funtime vacations appear to be a decent little product. I haven't look carefully nor seen the T&C. I see massive improvements to their sites since I last looked at it a few months ago. What I would like to see, however- those of us that have had bad experiences with Rusty himself. I think we should write Al at the BOD about it. Just to make him aware. I think if several people have had that kind of experience- it just goes to show how ethical that business might be. My big concern, with this or any other new provider or attached opportunity- is keeping the name and reputation of CV on the top shellf. I'm ALL for making money and providing folks with the products and services they WANT. But at days end, I'm NOT all about the money. I have to say, I really did not like being approached by funtime reps who were unsuccessful coastal directors via the google ppc listings. I didn't like hearing bad things about my company via the head honcho over their. I don't like the idea of recruiting from within, and I am not thrilled or enamoured with the idea of attaching an MLM opportunity to CV. To me, that we are one of the FEW non MLM home based business out here speaks to the equal opportunity that everyone has when first starting out in this business. I realize its "3 and its free" but to me, a pyramid is STILL a pyramid! At the end of the day, mind you- I trust Al and the BOD. They have been doing this longer then I have so I fully expect they know exactly what it is they are doing and that they are minded to sustain this opportunity and our reputation. As it stands, mind you.. I'm tempted to sit on my heels and watch for a while. I'm an entrepreneur, and I'm all for having additional streams of income. Particularily passive streams. But I know that the stability of any company, MLM ops in particular is always in question early on in the business. Granted, its a risk worth taking for some to be on the ground floor. But again, I'm not all about money. I really NEED to know that there are ethical people, practices and standards in place as well as an outstanding product, stable company structure and pay plan. So far, I see the folks over at funtime are trying and seem to be making progress. But I have not seen enough there yet with some of the unfortunate happenings I've witnessed to be able to put my name behind it and promote to my team or others. Just my .02! Quoting: ateamfuntimerStay tuned as an announcement will probably be made at the CV regional in Vegas. So a FT plus CV director is telling us CV Directors that an announcement will be made by the BOD at the conference How and why do the FT people know this BEFORE we do and BEFORE the announcement is made, teasing and courting us to join under them yet won't reveal the details?? First of all don't say that the BOD will make an "announcement" like you know the "secret" and expect us to join under you!! Again I have to ask why do FT people know the details before we do and won't share them? They already made an announcement but wont give the details, maybe you all should have shut up until CV did make the announcement you think????? Terri
Ditto on that, Terri! Like the old lady said in an old Harvey's Hambuger restaurant chain commercial up here a few years back..."Where's the beef??" Jani Teeter L3 Director, CSG
Hello all, I apologize for the slow response but to be honest im just really busy running my business and only come in here from time to time. I will try and answer so of the questions that have been asked of me directly in one swoop. Again I apologize for the slow response but with all the opportunity out there in my community, from my leads, my advertising and even the personal emails ive received from some of you business take first crack at my time. Lets start with Terri ( btw Terri I got you email and the best way to get all you questions answered directly from me is to call the number I sent back to you). What do you do with 40,000 leads? Well that a good problem. Lets say it this way. I used to be in law enforcement and when something went down id rather have 4 officers next to me and not need them than have none and need them all. In the lead game more is better. Now I do let my system both my auto responder with Fun Time and my CSG MAC system send them out info. I call back the ones that have looked through info. To me that means they have some interest. If I cant call 40,000 people so what I call as many as I need to. The rest still get the email campaign. Also Terri as I know there is no special deal for being a coastal member and joining Fun Time. Not sure if Al is doing anything special about that at the CV Regional. I would say this. Being there is a residual income to this program I would join asap so as more people want to come in they can under your organization and you make a higher residual. Position yourself right. Okay Noreen, You can join Fun Time any time and dont have to be a Coastal member. And as a Coastal member you dont have to join Fun TIme. I say the two fit together as they are both in travel. I use the Fun Time vouchers ( which I get paid for when customers activate them) as an incentive to get a client to my Coastal website. As for a demo site I dont have one for you but I can say this the back office and training is good and to te point and easy to navigate. Remember I was part of the CSG Leadership that brought the CSG MAc system to our base. Now im pretty handy on a computer and have to say the CSG MAC system does a bunch and the new Fun Time back office is more that adequate. BTW guys the music on my website is a song called "Enjoy" by Janet Jackson. That is my wife's favorite artist so I made the site and added that song. I hope to continue the conversation on Fun Time. I like to say that every opportunity isnt for everyone and im not here to sell anyone anything. Now would I like for you guys to join my team ...of course. That only make business sense and we are in business to make money. I would say that for me the pros really out weighed the con's and as there is no obligation and contract to sign you can get out any time. But let me tell you a story. I started a young lady a month ago in Fun Time. When her renewal for the next month came up she was thinking of quitting. Now I had helped her get her first member in her downline. This person in her downline has put 5 people in her downline since then and that means a residual of $250 for the lady that was going to quit. In her first month her system now cost her $50 a month from now on. Needless to say she is staying put as each month as she grows a team her income will grow. So with stories like that why wouldnt you get involved. In addition to talking here I have a wide variety of different opportunities I work in including buisness and personal coaching. Check out my site and be on the look out for a book im writing as well as a line of business products. Talk soon.
For all that have doubt about anything going on with Fun Time and CV id suggest getting on the BOD calls and asking questions. The Coastal/Fun Time website is up and running so ask Al. New cards have been printed so be ready when you send out packages. As a planner of events I understand the build up. Just more umph for your event . Not everyone in CV reads this forum. So many of the world wide CV members will get the news after its officially announced. There is no secret. That is "the beef" as Jani referred to of the matter. And if you look at my quote that was copied and pasted the word "PROBABLY" is prominent. As someone who stands by my word I pick my words wisely and yes im human and make mistakes but try my best to say what I mean and mean what I say. I have personally spoke to a few of you on this forum and have done my best to inform you of the full details as I have come to know them. If in my quest to do so if I am misunderstood I apologize. But you can contact me to go over any questions. I understand the reasoning of a forum but also know personally how some of the members have used this forum to personally attack others. I know of a prominent member of this forum who I have spoke to personally that is a member of Coastal and gave a team mate alot of slack for joining Fun Time and then attacked them in a forum. That in my opinion is wrong. This forum is not for attack but rather an exchange of ideas. The "Secret" has taught me there is enough for us all out there and not all of us want the same thing. So lets get out of the attacking mode and get back to more of the information gathering and sharing. Imagine a new prospect coming on here and you losing a sale as they see all the bickering back and forth. Just food for thought. Right Adam.. So, as for information gathering and sharing- I did not yet receive an e-mail from you? I'm sure you have been very busy with the many different projects you have on your plate. Actually- I think better for all- would you mind posting that link and other pertinent info up here so that everyone can go and look see? That would give everyone some beef so there can be some intellegent discussion about this potential "new" (though not so new) venture. I've actually had a team member of mine go to funtime as well- the feedback from him and others that I know- was really not very good either. So, I'm really curious to see what improvements have been made as funtime prepares to come under the CV banner. I know the websites are looking MUCH better. So, I can see that they are actually trying at it pretty hard! Cheers Jani Teeter L3 Director, CSG
Its funny how things can be spinned on a forum. Yes I havent sent you the email as of yet but we spent about an hour on the phone talking about Fun Time Jani. Why did you fail to mention that we did have a conversation. In that conversation we talked at length about Fun Time. From that conversation you are looking for me to send you a screen shot of info about the back office. I will get around to sending you some info but from our conversation I did say im not trying to sell you anything and from your replies your definitely arent buying Fun Time. In my business I spend my time with those who are looking for an opportunity. In my thoughts you are looking to bad mouth Fun Time and not looking for an opportunity. If you had got all the negative feedback from someone that you are prospecting about Coastal as I have gotten from you about Fun Time I know you would just leave that person be. To be honest that is my thought process on this with you. You arent going to join Fun Time and you just really want to talk negatively ( but in a controlled fashion ) about it. This is only my humble opinion. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I will send you the numbers of the Fun Time Opportunity call so you can direct all your questions directly to the source. Now dont say im trying to hide now im just not willing to spend my precious time and energy on someone that no matter what I say or do will have nothing good to say about Fun Time or will ever join. I have made my decision to use Fun Time with amazing results and a bunch of people have followed me making that decision for themselves after looking at the facts. Having been in Coastal 2 yrs now I have seen people do the same about Coastal. And you know what they see it works they see the change in my lifestyle. They see the HBC magazine we were featured in May 2006. But they still have a wait and see attitude. Well the train is moving....it will be back to pick up the straglers (sp) but im not waiting, im onboard and on my trip. I will send you an email with the Fun Time Call schedule. They opportunity calls are held every tuesday and thursday. I will post the number here and if the admin dept lets it through great. If not ill personally email it to you after bbq today. That number is 402 756 9000 pincode 1025286# and the calls are held every tuesday and thursday night @ 9pm est.
Just curious, what troubles has Coastal been having with InteleTravel? And conversly, what types of troubles have Coastal Director had with FunTime? Thanks!
Hey guys, Hope everyone is enjoying Memorial Day. In this day and time when we have soldiers dying overseas we must acknowledge the sacrifice they are making. So enjoy the day. I wanted to be sure to get back on this post and update a few things. Its rather difficult to keep up with all the post in all the sections and stay on top of it all. So for that I commend you guys. I will do my best to keep up. A few questions seem to come up all the time. The first is why hasnt it been announced. Well im not the authority to answer this. I was informed there had been some announcements referring to this new program on the BOD Calls. Id go to the source and ask on the calls if I were you guys. The second question is about what does the auto-responder do with the leads? They get emails about travel packages and the fun time opportunity. Now this is what we do with those leads as well. In the CSG MAC system we have email campaigns that go out to a client for a length of time. I copied and pasted those campaign letters made them my own and added all of my 40,000 leads to that campaign. Now that might seem technical but its really a few clicks of a mouse and you are done. Many of the CSG members are sending those leads to the movie site with great results. As for the residual income question at the top level its like this. You pay $300 a month for your system (leads, certificates, autoresponder, back office and training) each person you bring into the program that gets this same program gives you a residual of $100 so with three people your system is now free. You also get paid on 5 levels and to best understand it you can go to the website and click on the residual income link on the site. This is the generic site ill put it here and see if the admin lets it go through. If not just contact me and ill give you my site. Hope some of the info helps. Adam [Link removed - Admin]
Adam.. I don't know how you ever got the impression that I would "never join funtime". What I simply said to you, was that I- like MANY others here was not heretofor impressed by several things, and I tried to explain to you what those things were. As I am not the only person on this board who has had these experiences, you might think there is something to what we are saying? Now, I realize you can't be held accountable for other peoples actions- but you certainly can be for your own. To me, it isn't appropriate to only showcase the $$ potential when it is CLEAR there has been admin and ethical concerns in the past. Now, if that is all cleared up in the present- then all I and others need (I think?) is information and assurances that this company is getting on track. I've tried to say that I HAVE seen them trying- I do note the much improved replicated sites. What I was asking for- you said there was a website for funtime AND coastal already up? Somewhere- can we all go have a look at that that are INTERESTED in staying open minded and doing our due diligence? My only comments are honest and from my experience. I'm sorry for not informing everyone that we spent an hour on the phone. I do appreciate your valuable time, but I still am someone who requires something to look at. I don't care about POTENTIAL- I care about facts, ethics and the present situation- that to ME- speaks towards the future. Owl personality, you know! Actually, if I was speaking with someone about Coastal who had valid and genuine concerns, even bad experiences- I would do my very utmost to get them the information they requested and needed. I would listen to them when they said things like they had concerns about ethics and cross promoting 2 separate businesses and help them come to terms with that. If I said I would send them an e-mail- I most certainly would. But, that is me.... Obviously, I am a busy person too- I hardly have the time myself to sit around chatting and trying to LEARN and get factual information about a new opportunity and its support, system training and resources etc etc if I wasn't interested in finding out more- I don't know if you were aware that I actually had guests and usually do some work while my daughter is napping? I understand that you have had very different experiences and believe strongly that this is a great money making opportunity for everyone. While I have some difficulties seeing exactly how and why and making it all kosher in my head- I am certainly interested in finding out how you have found YOUR perspective- because I am standing from the outside looking in. To me, the fact that you have made money in 6 weeks is NOT enough. I am not YOU Adam, and while I respect and admire your accomplishments I have no desire to BE you or DO what it is you do. I do not have the kind of sales skills or personality that you have, obviously. What I need to know is- is there a duplicable system, a strong support team, access to quality information, decent products and services, ethical marketing and business practice? This is what I looked for when I found Coastal and the CSG. Incedentally- I had VERY bad experiences with other groups and directors before I found my director and the CSG- and I joined her team because she gave me straight facts and direct information when I asked- even if it wasn't the rosiest of details. I WAS the ultimate skeptic, I had seen the scam and rip off reports and talked to several "directors" one who is on the FBA blacklist. I STILL kept looking at the opportunity to see both sides of the equation. This is called research. To do it, you need information. That is what I have always asked for when contacted by funtime reps. That is what I am asking for now- and I believe others are too! Jani Teeter L3 Director, CSG btw- you told me that the new back office rivaled the CSG MAC- so I asked if you would show it to me. You said you would not let me into your backoffice- obviously you don't have that software- so YOU OFFERED to send me screen captures so I could see it. I DID NOT ASK- you offered, I said thanks- and am still waiting for that as well as the links and other info you mentioned! I think it would be GREAT if you can post any of it here for everyone else. You have a captive audience of entrepreneurs- go for it!
