    Hi,
It's important to be on top of your opt in rate. They say it's a numbers game and it is. I know for every 30-35 people that visit my site, one will join. People get discouraged cause they get a trickle of traffic and wonder why they aren't getting sign ups. Also, look at leaders in your business and see how they have put together their lead capture page. Those generic company websites are costing you leads. People see the same website over and over and click out of them losing you business. My website is nothing special but it is videos and audios of me. And it isn't a slick production either. No one told me to do this in the past and it cost me money and opportunity to succeed. Attraction Marketing is key in todays market.

Are there any PPTW members out there who are still having great success with this biz. I know it's been around a while, I'm just curious to know if it has sizzled out or if there is still money to be made with this biz.

    Thanks

Is there anyone out there still making money with PPTW. Just curious to know if this program still has potential.

    Hi,

I am not a member of PPTW, but I know there are still people doing well like my friend Simon in the U.K. He does a lot of YouTube and MySpace marketing.

    HI all,

Good thread here. In my mind there is something lacking int he majoriety of the programs discussed here. THere is no real incentive for the sponser to continue helping their new person after a bit. if its a true MLM, than the new person can theoretically become greater than the sponser so why would the sponser give them all the best advice. In a 1 up or two up situation after they get their first 2 sales they get nothing else from them and just cut them lose. THe best method i have seen is a matching override on your downline, so you are incented to continue helping them.

At the end of the day it all comes down to the money right?

    hope this helps

You are absolutely correct that having a unique capture page will get you much better results. Because what "sells" is a system for success.

When people see you or a unique capture page talking about the "HOW" to make this work, people will more likely join because they can see that if they follow the same steps as you, they will most likely get the same results of course.

I am on the blessings unlimited team that is promoting Infinity 800. Jeanie Loman offers a lot of training, landing page, and webinars several times during the week to help close new prospects.

Hello - I've been looking at Simon Stepsy marketing for the passport to wealth and considering joining his team - are there any members here who are under him and can they share their experience. Or any other people who have heard of him in fact. Thanks

I'd have to agree with your comment about earning long-term on your downline's efforts being a better system... For newbies especially it's important to have the support of your upline whether it's for your first sale or 20th with a business opportunity because the first 1-2 could purely be luck, but making it to sale 20 surely would not be... The difference between sale #2 and sale #20 could simply be a matter of an extra 20 minutes chatting with your sponsor that might not happen if they only earn on those first 2 sales and disappear...

Now, this probably sounds odd coming from the person that started the P2W thread, but I happen to be one of those individuals that works herself to the bone to provide topnotch support for her downline regardless of whether it's assisting with the 1st sale or the 20th and I can't tell you how heartbreaking it was to have dozens of people abandoned by their upline in P2W or other 1-up/2-up systems contact me seeking support... If the business had been set up to pay even a SMALL percentage per sale for every sale made by your downline, those people may not have been abandoned!

Now, just to answer the question that I am sure some will want to ask, no, I am no longer with P2W... Though I did well with them, I ended up deciding that 1-up/2-up systems just weren't a solid fit for me... I wanted something long-term, stable, and that offered residual income. It took me a couple years to find a solid fit, but I am much happier with my business choice now than I was back then. [IMG]

I used to have a Passport to Wealth business and was in the Blessings Unlimited Team. I decided to join a less expensive program so I no longer am a PPTW member. I felt, and still feel, that I needed a program that offered income opportunities to those who could not afford the $997 PPTW purchase price. Due to current economic conditions, not everyone can afford to pay that much money. My new program offers 3 program levels, with the ability to upgrade after they have made a few sales and can comfortably afford to do so.

I want to comment on Jeanie Looman. She is wonderful and offers a lot of support. Jeanie offers free training calls and a website full of marketing training and resources. I still use those resources for marketing my new business. Jeanie has a good heart and I believe she wants all of her team members to prosper.

    Best of luck to you!

What ever happened to Passport To Wealth? The site is
still up, but there was a BIG upgrade to a version 2 that
was promised by Darren Gaudry but then it never happened.

Anyone have any insight into this?

These programs promoted lousy products and services to move money. There is no use for them when you can just join a cash generation program that avoids products, mlm, and services.

    Bill,
I do agree with your post that cash generation is the way to go, however there are some people who don't care for cash gifting... so it's a smart thing to have another online biz-opp that works.

I dare say you can still make a few quid From Passport To Wealth.

As for the amounts & expectations, probably a fraction of what
    people are expecting.

Since starting internet marketing, I have ran three opt in campaigns
& from that roughly 8% have signed up.

So for every 100 people you have on a list, roughly 8 should buy
    the product.

I agree with the person that said this is a numbers game. For each income stream I have I know the amount of opt ins it takes to create a sale. I let others though do the calling for me to create my opt ins, i then worry bout closing sales. Leveraging your time is key.
