Web Design and Hosting for income

If you are looking at the WP side of it, none.
I just installed WP and the resellers plug-in.
I uploaded my logo to it but nothing else.
Even my company name in posts was auto.
You set it up in the resllerspanel controls.
They have several themes to choose from.
I chose business because that's what I do.

Only problem I had was a re-direct to my home page that breaks the code.
They provide a space to input a separate home page but it needs fixing.
For now it just stays on the WP side without going to the HTML pages.
If I input the URL for my home page the whole thing quits working.
Other than that it works like a charm, 5 minute install.

Thanks for the great advice. I have recently started to get much better with the wordpress ptatform.. its not as hard as you think once you have had a bit of practice Was thinking of making a few websites, some resellers and some affiliate sites and selling them on flippa!

 

Thanks for sharing! I need all the tips and tricks I can get! When you buy your own domain/site are you left with a blank slate? Will I need to learn basic html to set up my site? Will there be a pre-design or templates to get started? So many questions....

 

Yes, you will have a blank slate to start with.
Leaning HTML is helpful but optional if you use WordPress or some other template designer.
I recommend WordPress for newbies because there are so many free guides to help you.
(Plus it gets ranked faster due to the built in pinging of new content to search engines)
