ryamcarthur: The thing is there seems to be countless different promotional tools out there for promoting GDI. I have run across these ones and I would love to get feedback from anyone that can assist me in learning more about the legitimacy of each. I would gladly take success stories regarding any of them also to better assist me in making a decision. Hits2U SpiderWeb GDIPro NetworkStar GDI Team Builders Grin I am sure there are others but these ones stand out in my mind. Most of them say they are free. I did remember some having an optional cost associated with them. I am just looking for what works best.
Ryam, you are right. There are hundreds of GDI promotion tools helping you to build you GDI team. Hits2u, SWS both are good. I like.
But one among the best of all the GDI promotional tools - is your own website itself. Your website give your own identity, a product, a list which you can use to promote other programs and providing the highest conversion rate.
Apart from GDI website, I am using some cheap hosting services to promote Michael Cobb's HOME INCOME TEAM. To be frank HIT is the best tool to promote GDI. You can create a customized HIT website in minutes, create unlimited auto-responders, promote number of income opportunities of your choice. You can integrate your GetResponse, TrafficWave auto-responder to the Cobb's Newsletters and personally follow-up your leads.
In short HIT is dam good. However, I am equally open to other promotional tools also.

I prefer ClixSense.com New Income Opportunity program to promote GDI. It is a GDI rotator. For $5/month, you get almost 200 page views to your GDI site, 5-15 prospacts per month. It is good.
But the best way to promote GDI is as I believe promoting the other GDI downline builders like- HIT, Spiderwebsystem, Hits2U, GrinTeam etc all from your own page. This way we can reduce the advertising costs and literate the visitors more about the GDI websystem.
You can do that without spending a single dime!! Subscribe a free linux hosting plan from Hosting.india.to. Publish your own webpage and promote the GDI plug-ins where you are affiliated to from a single page. Capture leads and follow them up regularly and literate them about the GDI income opportunity. You can send your prospacts GDI DVDs too, as incentive for subscribing to your newsletter. GDI DVDs are more viral then anything else.

Hi folks,
Believe it or not there are people out there that just want to know how to promote GDI, not programs or systems that incorporate other affiliates or encourage you to join Traffic Exchanges, Safelists etc.
This I believe is a personal preference.
What we need to remember is that everybody is at a different stage of the process. The more complicated the system is the less successful it is likely to be for the "masses".
Where am I going with this? When was the last time you watched the GDI online DVD presentation? From start right through to the finish?
If it was today fantastic, last week pretty good, last year.....uuummmm not good enough. Watch it again, get excited, and get those online links or offline marketing out there.
Right Now! The world is in pain, turn on CNN, Fox, BBC and it is all doom and gloom. People are getting laid off and are looking for solutions.
GDI has a low cost entry level, simple idea that anybody can do. And I mean anybody...
So my challenge to you and my challenge to me is what if we could double our respective GDI enterprises in the next 90 days.
What would it feel like if you did that in 60 days or 30?
Food for thought.

Well i was looking at what tissa one of the highest referrers on gdi does. He uses his downline referrel access codes to get them 5-10 referrals. This keeps them in the game and pays of the monthly cost. Tissa gets the same credit in value and the downline stays happy and eager to market and learn because the cost is payed for. Now that is a system that makes everyone happy. Why cant other top of the line marketers on gdi be that helpful. That would keep people on gdi for longer and everyone happy.

I am new to GDI and the first thing my sponsor told me is to ignore everything that GDI tells you to do in order to get leads.He said he tried it and made nothing and then tried it another way and found one that worked.The reason I sighned up is that he was honest enough to say that they wanted to sell dvds and leads.

Hi there,
At some stage you will need to make a one purchase of 10 DVD's to qualify for bonuses. No getting away from that.
The DVD is online.
I signed up for GDI through an affiliate program. Personal branding is where I am heading these days though.

I am with Tissa, and he NEVER talks about anything like that, and I NEVER got any referrals in my downline from him.
But he should. A forced matrix is the only thing missing from his system.

The way I viewed GDI was that you are paying for hosting, with an opportunity tagged on by being able to refer new members.
If you accept that, then what makes GDI stand out? It may have changed in recent years, but when I evaluated it, the core program that you are selling was poor. There are much better deals out there for hosting, which also offer affiliate plans.
I don't really see the point in GDI.

piggybanker: I found that I didn't even want to try to recruit until I created my own set of squeeze pages to promote with. I've never had luck using other people's affiliate splash pages. They'd click my link, but the program owner got all the leads email addresses and I was stuck with fewer sign ups and NO LIST.
What exactly is a squeeze page? Im new to this type of thing? Thanks
oh, and what is all this talk about neytwork admins getting all the leads? and you only getting a few clicks? Are you saying the admins are stealing all the people who join under you? Whats the point of joining then?

Whats wrong with that is most people come to forums to get unbiased views about what companies are legit or not. People coming on these forums claiming to "just be getting the word out" are in and of themselves, biased, because they have an agenda, to convice people to sign up for their programs. I was very dissappointed when I realized this was just another sales pitch site, I had thought it was a legitimate, realistic and unbiased foru where one could come to get some honest advice about programs out there, not get a sales pitch thrown at them.

GDI is awesome, Me and my team are getting great results and we don't even have to pay for advertising. So many Free ways to advertise.

GDI is more to long term profit. You can't get the result instantly. I never did any PPC advertisement, Tissa done it all for me. And i think he done it pretty well. Just joined last month.hehe

I have some online ads running for my Search Engine and will mainly focus on GDI (Global Domain International) because I see much more potential there.
If they increase their services and bring the results they promote - I think it could be an interesting business. Even though it generates quickly competition within a niche market.
Just imagine all the members inflating the same keywords with Adwords...

I heard GDI was a good income opportunity, but you really have to know what you are doing! As far as web hosting there are many other sites out there that offer you your own website, but with GDI you get a .ws domain so you might have more options as far as naming your website.

There are sooo many GDI downline builders out there.
They will ALL help you get people in your downline, and teach you the online promotional game.
GDI has worked out very well for me.
I don't have much time to promote lately, but thanks to my downline, I have been doing good, even now, when I don't have time or situation to promote effectively.
All you have to do with GDI is promote it.
(GDI downline builders will do this automatically)
LEARN the online promo biz!
(GDI downline builders will teach you how - you don't have to ALREADY know how!)
Just DO IT!
Get with a good GDI downline builder (or two!), learn how and do the work - while you learn how!
PROMOTE your GDI website, it WILL pay off...

GDI is good if you're an active recruiter. The incentive bonuses for signups per week is good. However, if you're not very active or don't have much experience in the world of online or network marketing, you're not going to make much.
Plus with GDI, there is no concept of spillover as there is with forced matrices so you're working by yourself. Personally, i'm not a fan of forced matrices but if you really want to join something like GDI, i would instead find a forced matrices and a good sponsor for it so you can get support and hopefully a good number of spillover on the side. Usually these forced matrices will also have better pay per referral and you can purchase multiple positions. I'm more of a fan of 2x2 recycling matrices currently with the fast cycling and greater payout.

Spillover is WAY over rated!
And I have yet to find a matrix worth its cost.
ESPECIALLY when you consider the sheer time and hassle of those 'free' advertising methods.
GDI, unlike most any matrix, actually has a PRODUCT to offer.
Yes it costs more than most hosting services, but it also has a way for you to make money.
SERIOUYS money!
And it has been around about 12 years now - any matrices like that?
But all you really have to do with GDI is learn how to promote it, and teach your downline to do the same.
Once your downline members learn those skills, and teach THEIR downline members to do the same, weeelll, THAT's when you'll start earning money.
Even if you don't promote GDI yourself (as in my case, currently).
You will benefit from the activity of your downline members.

In my eyes Tissa's Acme People Search program is the best for building your GDI downline, it has a forced GDI hosting option wich makes building your GDI downline pleasant.
Coming soon(in beta testing) forced matrix for GDI.
Once you have at least six sign-ups on your GDI frontline (Level 1) Tissa will automatically start promoting your frontline's GDI sign-up links so you can start building YOUR Level 2. Once each person on your frontline has at least six sign-ups on their frontline, Tissa will automatically rotate through your Level 2 sign-ups until they each have at least six sign-ups - and so on, up to five layers deep.

I joined them 5 years ago...got to praise their support and the variety of promotion tools...those who persevere in the initial stage would benefit coming to now..with many downlines..
Never made much money with them....Find it hard to sell those domains...where the world is going with .com...
Adsense and Affiliate marketing still work better for me.

OK I haven't started with GDI yet because frankly I am not sure that I will be successful. But, I stumbled upon a website that guaranteed that you would be making a profit within the first week (so with the free trial, you would not be spending any money). The website is gdisecrets.com . Is this website legitimite or not? Can anyone check it out? Because I want to know whether to join through this website or through 3in7.
