I have been looking at that web site also. So far, the only thing I can see is that they require the initial downpayment, with out much of a guarantee.

I am keeping my eye open for ones that are free, or have less of a down payment, or a better guarantee.

Having said that, I really dont see anything wrong with this website.

I'm extremely leary of these kinds of "opportunities". First its tuffing envelopes. Then its data entry. And now rebate processing? What will they think of next - cow tipping jobs from home? The sad thing is people might actually buy into it...

Hi friends, I just sent this questions to the company and here are the responses. At least, they are honest.

Hello friends, just two questions:

1.- Will I need to generate my own customers or will you really been updating my account 24/7 ? Sorry, but I'd been in other programs, and they tell you they will update your account and at the end you need to do the advertisements and/or stuff envelopes and generate your own clients

2.- How much time, in average, will take me processing each rebate?

3.- Do you have any money back guarantee?

Thank you.

Hello
You would need to set ads with your special ID attached to it offering a
rebate. When someone buys the product from a ad that has your ID, you
get a commission and send the rebate using paypal.

Sorry the fee is non refundable. This is a digital product and there is
no way to return information once it has been received.

There is a place here in Tempe, AZ, called CPG Inc. that handles rebates. They have an office as well as work at home people. Although I haven't worked there personally, I do have a couple of friends who are/have been employed there and they are real happy with that place.

I think that if you actually go to the office of the company and they get you to do this for them from home then that sounds great and legit.

Now, if you find a company like this online and they require an upfront fee, then you will know for sure that they are probably a scam.

Many people do this online. They look for people who are desperate to make some extra money and are looking for something like this. It is more like a fisherman knowing that there are fish in the lake and the fish will eat what ever they fisherman puts on his hook.

This is something that many who come here need to know.

If you are looking for a processing rebate job online and the company wants you to pay them a fee upfront, then a red flag should come up for you.

Most of these companies are not legitimate or make unrealistic claims.

I live in Mesa Arizona. I worked for a company called CPG "Continental Promotions Group" based in Tempe, AZ. I had to go to their Tempe office 2 times a week to pick up mail. They paid me .15 per rebate that I processed. I was making around $500 per month, then they changed the pick-up schedule and we had to make the trip 3 times a week. I was driving 30 miles round trip 2 times a week so when they changed it to 3 times per week it just wasn't worth it to me. I loved processing the rebates and would love to work for them again if they would go back to 2 days a week picking up the mail.

SigmaChiMom -

It's always nice to hear from the voice of experience!!

So how many hours did it take to earn $500 per month?

If you are filling out forms, are the rebates grouped by city or state to make it easier? Or is it really time comsuming to enter the data or are they organized?

Thanks for the information!

Digital products don't cost a thing to produce. I'm not sure if the company is legit or not, but, I never pay anyone to work for them and neither should you.

Have a nice day,
Bob

I have been a merchandisor and mystery shopper for several years and whenever I see an ad that you can sign up with a compnay for a fee I know to stay clear. I also got the "email" from Angel Stevens (though I call it phishing) and though I didn't read all of it I did see it required a fee so I cam e here to see what it was about. So now I will researched Tempe AZ!!!

I also received the Angel Stevens email. Funny, for someone who has made a name for herself I can't seem to google her with any luck.

To jazzyjade,

I have been mystery shopping for over three years and have made or been reimbursed for dinner or shopping, well over $20,000. It is not a scam. There are over 300 legitimate mystery shopping companies out there. I belong to somewhat of a clearing house, that I pay for to get emails sent to me, but if I wanted to spend my time contacting each and every mystery shopping company out there, I would not be paying a dime for the service. I pay a small fee per year to get hundreds of emails sent to me each week. I love what I do and I can pick and choose what assignments interest me and what doesn't. Try contacting a company and apply. It is fun and rewarding.

BBB.org and whois.net research
It wasn't easy to do really, but here are my findings:
Start by looking for a company name, address, & phone number on the landing page
- Can't find one

Search BBB.org for landing page url: processathome(dot)com
- 1 listing found for Easy Way Services, it's unclear whether or not there is a direct affiliation between these this company name and 'processathome'. But it is notable that they received an "F" rating, and there are 3 unresolved complaints

Follow money trail. Who process payments for them?
- mouse over payment link and find that it points to clickandbuy(dot)com

Back to BBB.org - URL search tab - term: clickandbuy(dot)com
- This company also has an unsatisfactory record and happens to have 3 unresolved complaints

What's the connection between the two?
- Unknown The addresses for the two companies are on opposite sides of the country the first is L.A., CA and latter is NY.

Back to Whois.com - I noticed an "About us" link in the whois record
- points to an aboutus.org page the only useful info was a "related domains" section that points to clickandbuy(dot)com

Conclusion
Unresolved complaints often indicate that a customer attempted to get their money back and the company was unresponsive. The fact that processathome(dot)com is using a payment processor that has a bad record at BBB.org, is another in series of red flags. But remember, the first red flag that should come up for you is that they are asking you to pay for an opportunity to work. So the 'magic 8 ball' answer to the question, "Is the Angel Stevens processor program a SCAM or not?" is
"Signs point to yes"

Concerning mystery shopping, I have been doing "secretshopper.com" for several years now... shopping local restaurants and retail establishments. They don't pay a lot of cash (generally it's reimbursement and/or $25 or so), but it's enjoyable and we eat a lot of free dinners (probably 2x a month).

They're completely legitimate, but really this is more of a "hobby with perks" than a reliable second-income source.

Hi,
I, too, received an email from Angel Stevens. I am just wondering if anyone has found out if this is legit. It sounds as though it would be a great home business.

Would like to hear more info from anyone who might know about this.

There are few steps you can take to check the validity of the business. The first step is by doing a domain lookup at www.whois.net, type in the domain name for whois lookup, example www.processathome.com. This will give you some information about the domain name such as the person or company it is register to, and when it was created as well as the expiration date. After getting some information such as telephone number or address, the second step is to proceed to BBB.org and do a search by company name or phone number. My advice to you is that; always check the validity of these domain names by doing a whois lookup. Some of this work at home business is registered by one person under different domain names. There is legitimate work at home business out there. I have done some research, and honestly they exist because I have witnessed it.

I have been reading your posts regarding work at home rebate processing because I too was interested in doing this. In fact, I have spent the best part of a couple days researching these. For the most part, I was looking into a company called "Process at Home" (processathome.com) offered by Angel Stevens. Of course if you act today, you can get her program, "Home Rebate Processor Certification Program" for a reduced price of $197.

Well, after much research, I ended up being directed to "ScamXposers" (scamxposer.com) and found that they have rated the above mentioned company as just that, a SCAM.

I was VERY dissappointed, as I was really interested in the work. I would suggest anyone looking into any of these types of companies go to scamxposers.com to check if they too are a scam. If anyone finds one out there that is legit - I would LOVE for you to post it for the rest of us!

Happy hunting - be careful out there!

I saw the same ad from the Stevens person - really wanted to believe that there was a real opportunity, but I know that I should not have to pay for an opportunity to work. I too think it's a scam. If it walks like a duck....

WOW! I almost bought into this. Good thing I found great information on this site. Within the last 3 days, I have received 2 seperate emails from two different people promoting the same site regarding Angel Stevens. It sounded too good to be true. And $15 per rebate seems extreme, especially when the rebate you're processing is only worth $9 something.

Hey Guys,

My first post here-

This rebate processing is a scam. Here is how it works

> You promote Clickbank product through PPC like adwords or whatever...
> Hopefully someone buys product through your affiliate link.
> Then you send rebate to the customer through Paypal since you are getting commission for the product.

It's another hogwash avatar of product like survey income, data entry jobs etc.

Be warned- It's not a job...

I believe Angel Stevenson is a scam plus charges too much ($197) when you can buy same program for $39.00. Just Google it!!!
