WOW,
You folks have done a lot of researching, I too was considering LCM as a business venture about a month ago. The page came to me in an e-mail and it definatly got my attention.
I let it run all day I couldnt stop thinking about it. Was it a good thing or not. Great Marketing, Splash Page Best Ive ever seen!!!

Then I realized One of the main people involved is MIKE G. This guy has his fingers in a lot of On-line business opportunites, I know because My first one was "Profitmatic.com". Ive received a few calls from his office about coaching and other services and all I can say is keep doing your research.
Because I found another Business to work I put LCM on the back burner for now. To many things going on to take on yet another Money creation method.
Best of luck

I haven't joined Lawn Chair Millionaire but I would like to comment.

They have been spamming my email.
In 4 Days I received 19 emails from them.
Not pleasing and very unsatisfactory business conduct if you ask me.

Yes LCM does a LOT of advertisment/spamming.
But I think this thread balances that out a bit.
I've never seen such a long thread for a plan that so few people like!

Thanks to you TJamMoneyMan
You kept this going with all your great questions. The truth came out in the end. Keep up your business skills in rooting out the info, you were persistent. That is a great quality. You have a lot of good qualities, its a shame you cant find a well paying job to use your skills. I think Iam over these make money online oppurtunities. I think I will have to do party plan or something like that. Anyway thanks to all, you saved me my $50 LCM fee. xo

Hi,

Just wanted to add my opinion about Lawn Chair Millionaire.

I joined in December 2007 and cancelled in January 2008, so my information is based on Lawn Chair Millionaire as it was during that period. Nevertheless, I think my main point is as valid today as it was then. I think of my thoughts about trust.

Usually I don't take part in adventures like Lawn Chair Millionaire(LCM), the reason I made an exception was that the membership was recommended by someone I thought should be on my trust list. Nevertheless I should have used my own judgement.

There is a lot of free quality resources around when it comes to learning internet marketing. There's also many trustworthy internet marketers offering very inexpensive membership sites with a lot of good stuff that's free when you join the membership.

So, when I saw the marketing for LCM, it clearly left me with the impression that the monthly fee of $29.99 was for access to The Vault, which I then understood to be free products and services for my use once I became a member.

When I had joined I found that The Vault was 3 products/services which you would have to pay for to get for your own use. So, in reality, I just had paid $29.99/month for the fantastic possibility to buy 3 other products. These products were betting, futures and FOREX related, and the price to get started with even the least expensive of them where more than 4 times the monthly LCM-fee, one of them even had a monthly fee for the following months of more than 3 times the monthly LCM-fee (if I havn't totally misunderstood something).

I'll not be the one to say that you can't earn money with these products, even though for many of us it wil not be the right thing to do.

My point is that I felt very deceived by the fact that these products, and the use of them, was not part of the monthly LCM fee.

Then we have the other possibility to make money through LCM, marketing it to others and earning commissions. I don't doubt that some effective marketing could have earned me nice commissions.

Having just started out in internet marketing, wanting to brand myself as honest and thrustworthy, I felt that this earnings possibility was lost to me. Having looked inside the product, I felt that the marketing of LCM was so deceitful that I didn't want to ruin my reputation and other peoples trust in me by having them buy LCM through me.

In addition to what I've mentioned above, I also think that the marketing of LCM easily gives the impression, although perhaps not clearly stated, that the so called Moneyline Pool Share that you earn the day you join LCM is something that you easily can get paid to you. As mentioned by others, this is not the case if you don't stay in LCM and get other people to join. To get your Moneyline Share, or commissions for joining new members, out of the LCM system, you need a Virtual Money Debit Card. If you dont recruit any new members you'll have to pay for this card. If you recruit enough members, you get the card for free.

So, I came to a very clear conclusion, the only right thing for me to do was to cancel my subscription, taking my loss.

It would also be my advice to others starting out their journey into the IM world to stay away from projects like LCM.

You see, when I now get any kind of offers or recommendations from the marketer that recommended LCM to me, I don't quite trust that marketers advice. I'll always feel that I'll have to double check the offerings with a second source. So, a product that's both excellent and valuable, might to me get somewhat discredited just by being promoted through this marketer. Maybe I'll get around to buying and using those products at a later stage, but initially they're not the products I'll check out first.

I'm sorry to say that the same will be the case if, in the future, I receive any kind of offerings or advice from those of you in this thread that are promoting LCM.

Hope this post will be of some help to someone wondering if they should join LCM or not.

Remember my main points: Trustability and honesty.

WOW 5 pages for this thread, I saw the first couple of pages
that LCM was doing really well for some people.

The first thing I would like to ask has their income have grown
since the time they joined because the next few pages was from people that had a lot of concerns and issues with the validity of LCM.

I myself research Business Opportunities before I tell anyone about it. The way I see it that your name is your bond, your reputation is on the line.

I joined LCM way before even the big Gurus got involved such as Rachel Long and Mike G for example their were others but I think you know what I mean.

Here is a thing when I joined LCM that when I E-mailed support that all my questions were answered which told me first that support did respond. Now this where it all changed and red flags went up everywhere.

I started E-mailing support with tough questions like get support to explain how the Money Line Pool really worked. As soon as I said those type of questions support using their ticket system not one reply.

I have the exact e-mail I used to send to LCM support with all my valid concerns and issues. I feel could really give a very strong prospective for anyone that is considering LCM.

I have always been told you need to have all the information to make an informed decision to see if a Business Opportunity is right for someone or not. LCM does not give you the information until you join and with the dollars moving up well the urge for joining is very strong.

I have to say after finding out what LCM was all about that I got out and with in the 30 day period however I did not get a refund back.

I would love to paste in the E-mail I send to support, could someone let me know if this is possible or not?

Have an Inspiring Day

Interesting post Grant.

I will tell you though, I never believed the stories of financial earnings.
No one would substantiate.

Reasonable inquiry resulted in angry, abusive and defensive postings.
All the 'high earners' dissappeared.
Those who promised to get back with tales of great wealth amassed via LCM never did.

The usual spin, crash and burn...

One thing I learned from this LCM thread is to check out people's personal experience, in a forum like this, BEFORE parting with your hard earned.
If you check this thread, you will see that all of these things were mentioned.
Denied of course, but mentioned.

Too bad for you that was AFTER December 2007!

I think I joined LCM the day before the first post in this thread, and, anyway, I hadn't found this forum yet back in December. Not much information about LCM anywhere at that time.

Since then I've made it a point to discourage people from joining LCM whenever I find a thread about it. I've also posted both at Warrior Forum and at Digital Point Forum.

Before leaving LCM I printed out for my own use PDFs of most of the information I had access to inside their site. The list of top referers to LCM has become my list of "not to trust" marketers, even if I'm still a lifetime member of a text ad / contact list site owned by the person I signed up under.

It's sad to see marketers still promoting it with the same deceitful information, even trying to give people the impression that this is a new opportunity that has just started up these days.

Hi TJ,

Would you believe someones testimonial if they
presented cheques on a website?

How about when someone goes online and it is been
done live through video would this interest you TJ?

I have seen both but what got me thinking if someone
is making a ton of money they seem to just show about
a year ago with their best results.

I expected that would happen TJ as I see that LCM
is losing a lot of traffic through Alexia and I would expect
those high Gurus would have moved on to something else.

The way I see how gurus play the game is they get together in a pack like wolves and then get involved with in an Opportunity
get them selves well placed and once they have done that hit their list of thousands. That is how these gurus do so well the problem is that if your on a guru list, which I have and you e-mail them they never respond back. When I get involved with someones list I like to be able to communicate with them.

Hi Oscar,

Looks like we were both caught in the LCM hype and boy did people join pretty fast, it was not long afterwards that Marketers started to think is LCM really going to make you a millionaire with out with out leaving your chair.

Even though we joined LCM before any forums started to get some real facts that I am so grateful that Forums now exist because we can get some real facts before joining any Opportunity.

Have an Inspiring Day

I always don't believe in earning without any work. But i always believe in earning without spending. I have lost so much when i beginned first. A lots of these types of scam websites are becoming rich by virtue of its members and they never have a place for them in their heart.

Hi Grant,
I am trying to follow your post here, but I just can't understand your point.

But I will say that I'll believe a person's 'testimonial' when they are ready to offer full proof, and answer all questions. Without getting defensive, angry and abusive.
LCM'ers have had ample chance to do so.
This thread documents their defensive and angry response to normal and fair questioning.

The LCM 'guarantee' only guarantees a loss of $50 for those foolish enough to sign on to LCM.

There's no money in LCM, but for the 'gurus' whose ads still continue to target the gullible and uninformed newbie.

The excitement and B.S. of LCM is over - finally!

LCM is DONE.
(thank goodness!)

It doesn't matter how they promote this thing and I must say they

have done a real good job with that.

It's a pyramid scam !!

The ones at the top make all the money and it saturates sooner or

later and the thousands and thousands that join near the end lose!
